I tested the RAM with memtest and sometimes there are errors. This problem has never occured with FA. Does anybody have a similar problem? I hope that there will be some fix in the future.
you might need to adjust your oc/bios settings slightly from bios to bios, maybe a touch more qpi/vtt voltage would correct it

ssd is intel g2 80gb and i'm using xp 64-bit sp2 with all latest updates from ms and drivers from intel site (9.6.0.1014), doing trim manually. But ssd not the problem, already replaced ssd with 80gb hitachi 2.5" hdd and same thing. Same hdds were used in raid1 mode with gigabyte p45 and p55 and never had any problems, no bad sectors, now using one of them through usb adapter and no problems and no more iaStor errors or timeouts in event viewer

in my system i have 1 ssd at port sata2_0 and 2x750gb seagate in ports sata2_1 and sata2_2. Few days ago i changed from GA-P55-UD3R/i5 750 to GA-EX58-UD5/i7-950 (bios f13m now) and now my raid1 is not working fine anymore, was ok for 2 days then it became degraded after first shutdown. At first drive 1 was problem, after few reboots drive 1 became ok, but drive 2 became problematic. My p55 board had raid bios version 9.5.****, but x58 have version 8.9.0.1023 and if you try to google, you can see that version is not good for raid, here is the link to intel forum: http://communities.intel.com/thread/...ullThread=true

how is it possible, that mb priced 120 euros has better bios compared to more powerfull and priced 250 euros? They still making new bioses for this model, so it is not old.

so, can someone who have contact with gigabyte try to explain them that it is "must" to update raid version to newer 9.5 or 9.6 like in p55 series, it is not so difficult if they already using it, or even downgrade to 8.8.**** if they dont like newer for some reason? because now i dont know what to do, cant complete building my system. Newer had so problematic motherboard. No bsods or lockups, just very big raid problems

if i were you i would take the time to fill in a report to gigabyte, tell them whats happening and what components you have ect and maybe they will send you a custom revised bios to fix it,seemslike raid drivers to me but i dont know much about raid, its worth letting them know though and they can look into it,try and keep it simple language terms as they might have to translate

Thanks Wazza, but the usb is enabled in bios, as i say, its minor, they dont flash on startup, they only flash whilst in MIT, giving intermittent usage of the keyboard. (only when the keyboard is active, lit).

Guys, i need to know your opninon. I have problems with USB keyboard and mouse while starting my PC. I cant use it until i see desktop. I cant enter BIOS and choose which system to load. Sometimes i have no such problems, but sometimes yes, i cant find out what is it. I tried different keyboards, flashing another BIOS, clearing CMOS but the result is the same.
How do u think can i solve this problem by flashing this GA-X58A-UD5 (2.x) - GOOC 2010 W00?

    My system:
    Core i7 930, Gigabyte GA-X58A-UD5, 6 Gb (3x2Gb) Crucial Ballistix, GTX 470.
