I see some of you are modifying bios with option roms. Can anyone tell me how I can do that for the ga-x48-dq6? I tried some programs but they all won't load the bios in the format supplied by gigabyte and no renaming don't work ;)

I wan't to load at least the latest intel raid option rom in the f8i bios version. And maybe also update the Gigabyte controller/Lan cards but that has less priority offcourse.

Send me a PM with the BIOS file you want updated, I have the 10.0.0.1046 RAID ROM

If you want to do it yourself you need Cbrom (I use 115), and the files need to be named using .bin extension

Pls disregard my ignorance and accept my apology, I found the solution in the bios.

The audio vs overclock issue? Did you verify this is not DPC latency you are having issues with?

I use onboard audio at 4.2Ghz 24/7 without issues, and have used it at 5Ghz+ jamming to tunes while I benched and sorted results and no problems.
