    I've got a Gigabyte X58A-UD3R Rev.2
Bios changes have been quite rapid, FC3 on October 20th, FC5 on 10th November, and then on the 11th November FC. Can I assume that this FC is a final? Will there be a continuing beta series?

I'm quite happy with FC3 and have not seen a changelog to know what the updates have done, so if there is one I'd love to see it. Changes just seem quite frequent.

Stasio has a huge list of the latest drivers here. Since your board uses Realtek LAN/Audio and a Intel chipset, you can use the drivers he has.

    Angry Re: Gigabyte Latest BIOS

Do you guys know anything about when and if gigabyte is going to address the cold boot issues described here? Cold boot failures x58A-ud3r Rev2 bios FB

    GA-X58A-UD3R bios is a mess:

    - FA: 6GB installed 4GB available problem in Windows Vista and 7 64bit after a cold boot
    - FB: memory_management BSOD after a cold boot
    - FC: same as FB

Not to mention that several flash drives like PNY and some Kingston are not recognized by the motherboard at boot making them unusable for boot purposes or qflash.

Threads like that one are not only on that gigabyte forum, but also on tomshardware etc, i wonder when gigabyte is going to address the issue, i find myself tempted to buy some tested ram that seems to solve the problem to end this nightmare, but it's pretty sad i need to trash a perfectly working mem kit to solve a bios problem.

u know I had those same problems, well over a year ago with my plain UD3R and 920
anyhow many, many BIOS revs ago all was solved, funny how the X58A would have it
