    I have "Internal CPU PLL Overvoltage" set to "Enabled"
    It still doesn't change the fact that the CPU is using it's own VID (at least in F6a BiOS)

    I know bro!

    can only disable cores to increase the frequency using the turbo, example:

    cpu sandy bridge 2600k 3.4Ghz (3.5Ghz with Turbo)
    BCLK --> 103.2
    4 cores without HT --> 3612Mhz
    2 cores without HT --> 3818Mhz
    1 core without HT --> 3922Mhz
    4 cores with HT --> 3612Mhz
    2 cores with HT --> 3818Mhz

    regards and thanks

    Thanks for the update. The new BIOS loads slower than previous. It sits on the Gigabyte logo screen for 30 seconds now. This is after i set AHCI in BIOS.

    I still have problem with the BIOS remembering the clock settings after i power down my system and boot up after. It turns on, passes the BIOS logo and just before it loads the operating system it decides to shut down by itself and loads the default CPU clocks ??? Sometimes it shuts down by itself right after i boot up the system. They have to change it to try and load the current BIOS settings even after the automatic shut-down, if it fails the second time than load defaults --> This problem is only from a cold boot. When I reset the computer the clocks are fine, it remembers everything.

    I experimented with multipliers and on 45x100 - fails after shut down and goes to default, on 46x100 fails clocks after shut down and goes to default, on 47x100 no problem when i shut down and boot up, doesn't fail. 48x100 fails when i power down and boot up. All of these clocks have passed Prime95 for 2 hours and LinX for 20 runs so its all about the mobo not being able to cold boot with them...

    The dual BIOS feature is a little sensitive right now and it trips a bit sooner than it should,BIOS guys will relax it a bit so it doesnt flick to backup mode so easy.

    if you see it happen just flick the switch off the PSU and clear cmos and start clocking again.

    Thanks i'll try that. Also i see that you have a G.Skill memory in your signature. Do you use the X.M.P. profile1 from the bios or you adjust the memory by yourself ?

    Hello guys, I have an old i7 920 C0 in the GA-EX58-UD3R SLI (REV 1.0) with the F6i bios. I wanted to know if a newer bios would add and allow me to use the dynamic vcore setting.
