P.S. woul like to know is it possible to overwrite secondary bios (F3), because it is pretty annoying to flash bios back to latest every time it fails in windows :( Is it really necesary to write from backup bios every time it's something with oc wrong? Why just not to go back to optimal seetings after oc fail?
Please use ALT + F12 on the splash screen to flash the backup BIOS with the MAIN BIOS contents. You may need to try a few times, and you may need to also try using the right alt key and or a PS/2 keyboard to do this.

Press and hold ALT, then press F12 only once a few seconds after the POST/Splash screen is visible and your keyboard powers up.

    1. Get us some working LLC, and memory over 2133. Deal? Then I'll slap up cpuz validation AND sell you my chip as I have a few. :thumb:
    Will do!!

So I see from your comment above you went through 4 before you found the one you are using now. What do your other three have as max CPU multi?

Asking because I may want to buy one from you for real, if you will sell to me. Have one to spare that can do x57?

    Hi!
I have strange problem with FD (FD3 beta also) BIOS on X58A-UD5 rev 2.0
I cannot boot into Win7 ultimate anymore. System hangs at starting windows logo. When I boot in safe mode I see that it hangs on CLASSPNP.SYS driver.
I saw that already on FC bios but very rare. With FD it happens every single time and I cannot boot into windows at all.
I rolled back to FC, and system boots fine and everything works as usual.
I use Smart6 program and Energy Saver 2.0 if that matters.

    System is:
    X58A-UD5 rev 2.0
    I7 920 (191x19=3630MHz)
    3x2Gb Corsair Dominator
    ATi 5870
    Creative X-Fi Titanium (pci-e in x8 slot)
    Logitech usb keyboard and mouse
boot drive is Intel X-25M 80gb ssd
two 1tb hdds (wd and samsung)

You should be using f6b as it is the best BY FAR so far for stability and oc headroom.
