About flashing BIOS<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />
Older BIOSes are 1M In size. Newest 2M. Each contain the tool Q-BIOS suitable for its size (so you can use it for flashing BIOS of same format). Similarly the program FLASHSPI attached by Gigabyte to BIOS file is right for it. But if you are going to flash a smaller BIOS with bigger one (or opposite) - you have to use the newest @BIOS, as it is the only tool which reformatting a flash memory of your motherboard.
----------
New BIOSes have a AHCI problem (they cannot boot properly). Please try booting with CD or DVD (any contents) in your optical drive. (It works on GA-X58A-UD7 F8K).

Can anyone tell me whether the official FF bios for X58A-UD3R ver.2.0 is the same as FF2 ?

I tried FF8 and had problems ( no boot after " verifying DMI pool " )

FF2 is working well for me .

Q-Flash doesn't work for me ( GA-P67A-UD4 ) only @Bios is working in this case.
I've update my BIOS to F8i and I can't see any changes between F8f. No boot or any other "bugs" noticed.
Is there any changelog for this?
CPU: Intel Core i5-2500K @ stock

RAM: GoodRam 2x2GB DDR3 1600Mhz CL9

Yes everyone has to use Flashspi or @bios to flash the newer bioses out that office +3gb hdd support as the bios file size has change you will have to keep using either one of these bios flashing tools UNTIL gigabyte updates Q-Flash to handle the bios file size problem.

It's a pity, I've found at gig.com that they removed all beta bioses with UEFI for all boards. For my x58-ud7 rev1 it is F7 now! No more F8 at all! WTF!

Can someone comment it? And what says Gig about update with UEFI (Also it would be nice to use AwardTool friendly BIOS, who knows why?)

Tried the F7e BiOS for P67a-UD5 and if I put the PC to sleep, it doesn't wake up, but even worse, it won't boot again at all, unless I clear CMOS.
