The B3 is not the same BiOS as the B2 model. You will not be allowed to flash it. If you need to edit the F1 BiOS, use @BiOS to save existing BiOS to disk.
I just got the UD5-B3 BTW, and I'm surprised Gigabyte didn't include TIM with the new board.

TIM, you mean Thermal Paste? If so that is never included with motherboards, you always have to buy it yourself or use what you get with your CPU or cooler.

I have one problem with this mobo.

In BIOS defalt voltage for Intel Core i7-2600K 1.260V, but in Windows (CPU-z 1.57 and EasyTune6) show me totally diffrent voltages ... lower than in BIOS.

In CPU-z in idle core clock 1600MHz and voltage 1.056V and in load 3500MHz 1.068V but in is BIOS 1.260V

Or EasyTune6 in full load voltage is 1.200V

When I set to 1.3 voltage and core clock 4.2GHz in BIOS CPU-z show me voltage 1.068V and HWmonitor / Easytune6 1.22V.

What`s could be wrong with my system ? Software or BIOS ? softwere is lastest version and BIOS F1

    Thanks for solution

That is because you have Intel speedstep enabled, so the speed and voltages can fluctuate with system demand or lack of.

Disable C1E and EIST and what you set will be what you get, minus Vdrop at idle and Vdroop at load.

F1 BIOS? That could also be a major part of your issues, please update the BIOS using @BIOS or FlashSPI via DOS to the latest for your model.

Why has the 990x been removed from Gigabyte CPU support list? Also F8K has been removed... Any reason why ? I have the 990X running that BIOS on the GA-58X-UD7 rev.1. Getting worried here!

I'm talking about the swapped board (because of that B2 chipset bug). My Corsair H70 came with TIM pre-applied (ShinEtsu I believe), so I was hoping Gigabyte would send TIM along with motherboard replacement (it would have been nice of them at least). I had a bit of AS5 left, so I applied that instead.

Sorry, since you didn't mention what board you were using I didn't know what BIOS or board you had.

That is the latest BIOS for now, so you can disregard my comment about F1

Not sure, but I'm sure you have nothing to worry about otherwise you'd already be mentioning the bug it causes (If any). You are fine, just hold tight and I'm sure a new one will be out soon.

Ahh, ok I got ya now. Ya sorry, you'll have to use other paste as you already have because boards don't come with paste.

May I suggest you check out TX-2 Thermal paste, I think it's the best and easiest to use. If you can't find that MX-2 would be my second suggestion, both brands are very similar but TX-2 gives better temps.

Don't get TX or MX 3, 4, 5, ect as they are not as good as 2

According to this, TX2 is not as good as ShinEtsu or even AS5
