CPU-Z reads the VTT instead of the vcore in the B3 stepping boards. Just like the old CPUZ did when the P67 boards first came out. So you're going to have 1.056-1.068 at auto. CPU-Z needs to be updated for B3. Someone said HWinfo32 works.

You can't get over 4.8 ghz on the new board? Is PLL overvoltage enabled?
LLC1 and LLC2 are fixed now. If you previously used LLC1 to get a certain vcore and speed on the B2 bios boards (I think this only applied to UD5, as UD7 had fixed LLC1 and LLC2 for several B2 beta bioses going far back), you need to switch to LLC2 to get the same vcore results as LLC1.

I think Gigabyte fixed LLC1 to make it "small vdroop" and LLC2 as the old LLC1 on UD5. No idea about UD4 or UD3P.

I joined just to post my displeasure with my Gigabyte P67A-UD3P and the horrific BIOS quality. I haven't had one that's worked right yet. I keep trying new beta BIOS's hoping for a different result. Every cold boot I get the nice message about a boot failure because of overclocking or changes in voltage. I even with the stock "auto" settings for my 2600K! Then I have to go into the BIOS and reset my settings. It will usually warm boot without any issues.

    Here's the error:

I sure hope the B3 stepping replacement is better. Now I only have to wait for Microcenter to get them in stock.

Someone asked if I could post this bios here

    Index of /bit-tech/ud9bios

It is the F5O latest bios for the UD9 from Gigabyte.

Running on my UD9 with a 990x no issues at all, 990x at 5.2

"Why has the 990x been removed from Gigabyte CPU support list? Also F8K has been removed... Any reason why ? I have the 990X running that BIOS on the GA-58X-UD7 rev.1. Getting worried here! "

So if we are not talking about the P67 then "to hell' with all the other Gigabyte MB out there right? I have asked a legimate question moderators, can someone at least acknowledge this?

    GA-X58A-UD3R (2.0) - FF9
    -3TB+ HDD support
    -04.Mar 11
Is this newer than FF? I thought the letters without numbers meant final, but FF appears older? Confused.

"3TB+ HDD support: does that mean I can use it like a MBR hdd for booting windows without format to GPT or something like that?"</pre>
