I still have the same reboot issue. Too bad.

When I switch off my PC (from windows or from the power button) and reboot after a while. I have the gigabyte bios splash screen. Two seconds later I have a black screen instead of the AHCI screen. Five seconds after suddenty the motherboard reboots by itself. And this is the same cycle over and over again. I have to completely switch off the PSU for booting without problems.

I'm having the exact same problem, I actually just registered to say that. I'll try the BIOS update anyway, what do I have to lose?

Edit: Seems it worked. I cleared CMOS and booted up with F2 and the problem is gone. Can't be too sure though, but hopefully I can take the time to reach the full overclocking potential of my CPU now. :)

    Your LLC **IS** working correctly!!

Heck, you have a scant 0.012 drop from idle to load! That's GREAT! On my UD5 B3, I have 1.445 bios, 1.428 idle, 1.404 load (0.016v drop), with LLC1 (with B2, it would overshoot a lot). LLC2 would stop that, but I don't want to overvolt, even though LLC2 is fixed compared to the B2 boards.

If you don't believe it's working, set your overclock to 4.4 ghz and 1.25v. Then look at your idle and load voltage. They should be almost exactly the same.

Vdroop usually INCREASES the higher the voltage is, with analog VRM's, at least (no idea about digital).

You can overclock higher on the B3 than on the B2? The first sentence you wrote implied something like that...

I want proper LLC on the UD3P. I switched from an Asus Pro for this board, and I'm severely disappointed. I know there is a $25 difference in retail price but come one. All the Asus's have 4-5 LLC settings, and the UD3P get stuck with one that doesn't even work???? What gives Gigabyte?

You can't have "fixed LLC" with analog VRM's, because the LLC droops more with higher vcore (and thus higher load) by design. If you get 0.014 drop at 1.4v with LLC, then you will get no drop at 1.25v, because the current is less.

    That means it's working properly.

If you want a perfectly scaled LLC, that will adjust for whatever load is going through, you need to buy a M4E.

You should know that if you buy a cheaper board, you cant' expect the same features as a more expensive board, right? That's why the UD5 and UD7 have LLC1 and 2 and yours doesn't.

I thought the final or included ones that were already out have PLL? No?

If not, I guess I missed it, I thought I saw someone say it was in the B3 BIOSes already.
