Interesting, looks like FG for the X58A-UD3R (2.0) was removed from the Gigabyte site too.
has there been any word on why they were removed?
main bug i noticed is when setting 1.16V for IOH (i think it was the ioh...), the bios sets default 1.1V

GHz, did you see that IOH voltage issue in easytune, or actually in the BIOS?

I've seen something similar in UD7 for a long time like that, but it was only in easytune like if I set 1.16 or 1.18 (don't remember), it would back down to 1.1 when you hit apply.

sorry, should have been more detailed
i set the ioh voltage to 1.16 in the bios. but when in windows, easytune reads 1.1V

[edit] quick question: anyone had any problems with hardware interrupts taking up cpu cycles after waking from sleep?

Ahh ok, maybe same bug or at least related, not sure as I never tested BIOS when I see it in easytune.

I'll have to check both later this week and see, but I know it's been an issue since as long as I can remember in easytune, not sure if I've ever mentioned it to them or not?

The best functioning bios ( as far as stable o/c'ing is concerned ) for the X58A-UD3R ver. 2.0 is FF2 . Maybe FF2 with updated firmware for network and storage controllers would be best yet . ;) hint - hint
    FF9 , FF10 , FG1 were not good for me , and I haven't tried FG2 .

Anybody else have anything to say about FG2 ?

Agreed FF2 is the most stable out of every BIOS I've loaded on this board in terms of OC, RAID, booting and Voltage etc.

I too would be interested in updated Option ROMS.
