So I thought it was a bug or something but I fired up AIDA and the memory benchmarks were a good bit lower than what they were at 1600.

So I reverted back to F4 and the memory works as its supposed to again.
i've a same problem. ram dividers isn't work properly. on bios & post sceens it running at 1600/2133 but cpu-z and aida64 shows me it isn't. set it to [Auto/1333/1600/2133] it would only run at 1333, but set it to 1866 then it runs at 1600.

(I set it to 1833, but it runs at 1600)

this problem has only occurred in f5c. f5b works fine.

sorry 4 my bad english, thanks.

I have a similar to the problem realslow has. I have the GA-Z68X-UD4-B3 board and both the F8b and F8c bios versions will not allow RAM to run at more than 1600.

1600 (bios) runs at 1333 (windows)
1866 (bios) runs at 1600 (windows)
2133 (bios) runs at 1333 (windows)

The bios and POST show the intended values eg 2133 or 1866. When in windows (Win7 64) every program (cpu Z etc) I have used to see memory speed shows the actual value is either 1600 or 1333 as above. Benchmarks show that the lower value rather than the BIOS version is in effect.

My ram ran fine at 1866 with the F6 bios.

Seems that all new beta BIOS (P67/Z68) have same bug.
    Except Z68X-UD7.
    First post updated with notice.

    Reported to GTS.

I am still new at this, this is why I only do the P45-ud3p rev 1.1 and the X58A-ud5 rev2 as these are the 2 boards I have that I can try before release the modded bios.
Thanks. For me, best to leave alone.

    @ Pablo -

    1. The C300 SSD on X58A-UD9 issue:

I have re-tested this issue with C300 SSD and F5 BIOS, but cannot see any detection problem.
I connected the C300 to the Marvell GSATA3 port 6 in AHCI and Bypass mode, but the system always can detected the SSD without problem.
I also tried to install the Win 7 to the C300 and still no problem has found.
My suggestion: This user can make sure whether his C300 is faulty or not.

    My configuration:

    Model: X58A-UD9
    CPU: i7 930
    RAM: 3x G.SKILL 2GB DDR3-1600
    BIOS: F5, F5q
    SSD: Crucial C300 SSD

So is testing you are doing with your new C300 that you know is not faulty? And did you test both ports, with and without Bypass mode set in the BIOS?

    2. P35-DS3P with Q8400 CPU issue:

I have tried to test this issue with the Q8400 CPU but the system is working fine after flashed to the BIOS form F11 to F13b, please see below picture for reference.
I just want to know how this user flashing the BIOS? Is he using the Q-FLASH or other tools such like FLASHSPI? Did he keep the DMI date when flashing BIOS (MUST NOT keep the DMI data)? Can he make sure the BIOS was successfully updated without any fail when flashing BIOS?

    My configuration:

    Model: P35-DS3P 2.0
    CPU: Q8400
    RAM: 2x OCZ 2GB DDR2-1066
    BIOS: F11, F13b

Do you still have the E6750 CPU? If so, can you please put it back in, and try the new BIOS F13b again with Qflash, and be sure you are setting "Keep DMI Data" to disabled before you flash.

If that does not work, can you try again with FlashSPI using the following command:

    FlashSPI.exe bios-file-name.Fxx /C /D /E /R

So for example, be sure you enter the spaces

    FlashSPI.exe p35ds3p.F13b /C /D /E /R

If you do not have a floppy, here's how to make a bootable USB Stick so you can run FlashSPI from DOS via USB, see first post here
    http://forums.tweaktown.com/gigabyte...ash-guide.html

To boot from USB you need to ensure USB Storage or Legacy USB is enabled in integrated peripherals BIOS page, and then on bootup hit F12 during startup where you'd normally hit Del to enter the BIOS. This will bring up the boot menu, then choose HDD+ and on the next screen choose your USB stick by name. Please leave the USB Stick connected the whole time, you can't plug it in after you boot.

If you can't get it flashed via Qflash, or DOS Via USB, let me know and I'll make you a CD DOS ISO that you can use.
In regards to my reply here, just reposting this and sending a PM to you guys. The BIOS guys were wanting to know if you had any updates yet, PM Coming

    Oops I missed that. :O

i did disable the 'keep dmi data' thing when flashing with q-flash. I tried flashing all bioses with the E6750 before switching to the Q8400 just in case something could go wrong, and faced the issues with F11 and F12 bioses. I gave up and prayed the Q8400 would work anyways after reading some people's comments about it being recognized though not officially supported by their mobo's bioses. It does work, the mobo shows it as a random 8x333 2.66ghz cpu but the sse4.1 support is missing according to cpu-z.

Yes, I have a usb stick - used it for q-flash - and will give the flashspi a shot asap.

    Thanks again, mate.

    LSD, F5 bios works perfect.

I assume you are talking about F6b.?

Its the F6b bios that fails, locks at detecting ide drives like the issues with older bioses.

    Have pmed you.
