You talking about two different things.
Restore bad BIOS from Backup and how to update Backup BIOS with Main BIOS.

    What BIOS version is best for GA-P67A-UD4-B3, F3, F3d, F4 or F5b?

Ok, I saw you use a modded version, no problems so far with it?

What kind of changes do they doo in the ROMS that might justify modding in the latest versions. I mostly thinking about the realtek one since I get why Intel need to update when new features are added in the hardware the ROM should control. As well as SSD's coming that changes a lot compared to regular mechanical HDD's. But what about the realtek ROM, what kind of changes are done there, is there any logs of that, like there is for MB BIOS? I mean the audio chip itself doesn't change, unless it does, different componenents, but that shouldn't change the basic workings of a several year old audio chip? Or is the realtek ROM simply a general ROM for all of realteks audio chip?

Can you, if you actually had the ears and the equipment for it, detect an improvement of the sound with each new driver and especially ROM version.

Hoping for an answer that justifies chasing the latest versions of everything. :P

I'd appreciate changelogs for beta BIOS updates as well (z68 ud7 in my case). Shouldn't be that hard for the developers to write down a quick list of intended changes/fixes.
