Not sure if anyone can help ...but what the hell.... Running the Giga Z68A-D3-B3 and the new F6 bios takes SSD write speed to half. To make matters worse that buggy F6 bios also has the latest Intel OROM we need in it. Here are various threads speaking of the issue.... Technical Discussion Agi 3 Write speeds slowed after bios flash Fix F6 bios for z68a-d3-b3 General Discussion Vertex3/Agility3/Solid3/Revo3 Firmware ver 2.11 is live, discuss it here. - Page 24 I'm hoping there is a beta of some sort. Regardless, thanks for taking the time to read this,i appreciate it sirs.

Any news on the G1.Sniper beta bios, recently purchased this amzing board but unfortunatly cant get the same clocks out of it that I did with my GA-X58a-UD3r on F7 bios. could also do with unlinked memory or a couple of extra dividers, odd ones, kinda like what ANUS (not a typo) provide with their boards.

Is anyone having issues with the F5 bios revision (P67UD4B3)? Enabling CPU PLL Overvoltage causes boot loops here (3-cycle boot loop upon start). Also, it seems that every time I flash to a new bios I need bit more vcore than before to maintain the same OC(4.5GHz now @ 1.355V~1.332V load). I use Qflash for flashing. I always disable 'keep dmi data' and short the clr_cmos jumper after flashing.

    Thanks,

Whats with X58 boards? No updates for months... Just few beta versions, final hybrid efi bioses came out, but pulled due to major problems and now nothing happens.
Must say I'm disappointed very much.

I'm very disappointed too especially as some manufacturers are still releasing x58 boards, ive just spent 350 on a new G1.Sniper and then get told x58 is dying, personally just cos there isnt so much x58 things on sale anymore I dont think its dying at all, personally I dont care about Sandybridge, how many gamers and overclockers do you know that want on CPU GFX generating extra heat and completely useless for gaming, the answer is none, those CPU's should of just been designed for laptops with their onboard GFX.

The upgrades that Intel are currently making to their CPU's is completely worthless to someone like me, and the market is changing so quickly all the time at the moment, plus the fact they keep changing thier sockets, nothing is compatible from one CPU to another, its just a money making scam, I wont be changing my setup until Intel come out with something worthwhile upgrading for, and on CPU GFX just doesnt do it for me.

In many ways the G1.Sniper (Skt 1366) is better than the Sniper 2 (1155), the sniper 1 has tri channel RAM, more SATA Ports and 3 way Crossfire/Sli, the Sniper 2 for the same price has less of all of these, the pictures of these two boards alone shows this.
    Gigabyte G1.Sniper rev 1.0 (F3a Beta Bios)
    Intel Core i7 920 (overclocked to 4.35ghz)
    8gb (4 x 2gb) G.Skill RipJaws Red 2133mhz 9-11-9-28 2T 1.62v

    Coolermaster Realpower 850w PSU
    Windows 7 64bit Proffesional Edition
