    Hi,

i have looked into the 990fxa-ud7 F7e ROM and noticed the AGESA 1.1.0.2 code.
Could someone please mod the 990fxa-ud3 F5 and make it use the same AGESA 1.1.0.2 Code?

    Thanks

    Hello Acebmxer,

I use the same board as verox with a FX-8150 and I would appreciate if you would mod the F5 bios to use AGESA v1.1.0.2. I just want to find out if AMD fixed the steam games crashes with the new version.

    Thank you!

I am sorry guys but I have no AMD motherboards to test with. I have never done any modes to amd bios. This forum is mostly intel with little amd support. Maybe try doing a google search maybe someone else out there is doing these mods. Caution anyone who does venture in to this mod make sure you know how to recover from a bad flash in case things go wrong.

Note others. The bios mods that I release are only for the P45, X58 platform as these are the ones I have. If I cant flash a bios my self for any model of a platfore I wont do the mode as I wont be able to know what to expect from a correct mod or a bad mod.

I have posted these links before but for the new comers here are some links to bookmark.

    JZelectronic ModBIOS P45

    JZelectronic ModBIOS X58

    JZelectronic ModBIOS P67 and H67

    JZelectronic ModBIOS Z68

Edit added Z68 mod bios link. Thanks Stasio.

I have not tested them. I ask because my RAID10 (like yours: 4x2TB) is my system (OS & Data), so I don't want corrupt it.

    No problem, thanks anyway.

    @ stasio

Is there a chance for a F6 beta bios for the 990FXA-UD3? I just need a bios with AGESA v1.1.0.2 as the F7e for the UD7 u posted previous.

    Hi:

I have the GA-P67A-UD7-B3 and had been using BIOS F4 over clocked to 4.7 GHz with no problems. I finally decided to try BIOS F6 thinking I might upgrade to the Intel Ivy Bridge CPU when it comes out. With F6 I am getting restarts of my computer after just a few seconds. Sometimes it restarts once, sometimes more times and then finally starts normally. Sometimes it is fine and does not restart. This happened after I install F6 BIOS. Is anyone else having trouble with this BIOS. I could go back to F4 for now and wait for a newer BIOS but it has been a while since they came out with a new one. Does anyone know if Gigabyte is working on a new one for this board or could that be pretty much it.

    Thanks, Kent

These Bios files have not been test. No errors occurred while creating them. Bios files should work just fine. Before flashing Please make sure you no how to recover from a bad flash. Please use these at your own risk. This will could void your warranty if need to send the board in for RMA with these modded bios files installed.

Sorry for the long delay... Flashed bios to the motherboard. Enabled raid saw updated version. All drives detected and all a member of the array. Booted to windows and all data was just fine.
