what is wrong with tech support? being i only have 1 ps2 connector on this board i was using it for the mouse. I HATE usb keyboards as you confirmed switching to ps2 keyboard and it worked on the first attempt! Thank you I would have never thought of it!

Got given a new beta bios from gigabyte for the 990fxa-ud3

    F6c
    99FXAUD3.zip

    Added options for APM
    Added options for disabling cores/modules
    Fixed CPU PLL voltage changes.

LLC is set to extreme instead of high but they dont give you a option to change it, So underload your voltage will go up 0.04v instead of 0.02v like F5

Been running it for few hours now and its working fine.

Also forgot to mention it fixs the BSOD in shogun, saints row 3 etc.

Can somebody re-upload the X58A-OC F5C BIOS? The current download link does not work...it says "bandwidth exceeded".

Please note that the Intel RAID ROM 11.5.0.1111 cannot work in conjunction with the Marvell RAID if both are enabled at the same time (Gigabyte, if you are reading this please fix this issue...there is lots of spare space in the BIOS). To be able to use both Intel RAID and Marvell RAID at the same time the Intel RAID ROM must be version 10.1.0.1008 or below (provided here as well).

    X58AOCV1.F5C - X58AOCV1.F5C
    1. Intel® RAID ROM 11.5.0.1111
    2. Marvell 88SE9182 ROM 1.0.0.0025
    3. Realtek LAN ROM 2.44

    X58AOCV2.F5C - X58AOCV2.F5C
    1. Intel® RAID ROM 10.1.0.1008
    2. Marvell 88SE9182 ROM 1.0.0.0025
    3. Realtek LAN ROM 2.44

NOTE: Version X58AOCV2.F5C allows Intel RAID and Marvell RAID to be used in conjunction.

And to borrow the disclaimer with slight modifications...

The BIOS provided have not been tested in full. No errors occurred while creating them and I personally flashed and run both versions currently without issues. Before flashing please make sure that you know how to recover from a bad flash. Please use these at your own risk. Using modded BIOS will void your warranty if you need to send the board in for an RMA with the modded BIOS still flashed to the board.

Edit: Gigabyte should really consider modifying the base BIOS to allow for larger (>115K) Intel RAID OROMs while still allowing all other OROMs to load (e.g., Marvell, JMicron, etc.). All of the new RAID OROMs are approx. 118K in size and they will only get larger. Further to this, the new RAID ROM 11.5.0.1111 that supports TRIM in RAID will be necessary for this feature and it is not nice to be forced to choose between using Intel RAID and other controllers RAID on the boards that support it. For example, using the RAID ROM 11.5.0.1111 forces one to disable RAID on the Marvell SATA-3 ports because the two option ROMs cannot load at the same time in the current setup.

I have looked, but not found. Are there any EX58-UD5 bioses floating around that have the latest RAID Rom (Intel) modded into them? Currently I'm using F13u, but not overly fussed if people are using F13w and feel it is better.

I am running my drives in RAID 0, and I would like to prepare (perhaps somewhat prematurely!) for when TRIM is enabled in the RST driver

    Thanks
