    Hi. I have a Gigabyte EX58-Extreme and I've been running F13q for roughly the last year. Decided to @BIOS flash the latest beta BIOS (F13u). Doesn't work for me. Wiped CMOS to default, won't boot. Q-Flashed back to F13q, boots fine. Wiped DMI table and Q-flashed to F13u, won't boot. Again, back to F13q now. I have an Areca ARC-1880ix-24 RAID controller, and F13u absolutely refuses to boot. When it gets to POST code 75, it goes to another 8x code, then to 89 and shuts off. It restarts, and does the same thing over and over - the only way out is to press [DEL] for BIOS Settings - only then does it actually load the Areca BIOS off the ARC-1880ix, then it goes into the Award blue BIOS settings. From there, I can Q-Flash back to my old BIOS, but it never POSTs with F13u.

    Just FYI. Hopefully they can fix this up before it gets out of beta. Thanks.

    Hello guys,

    can somebody include Intel RAID ROM 11.5 and the latest JMicron and Realtek ROMs into Gigabyte EP45T-USB3P BIOS?

    Here's the link to F2 final BIOS including SLIC 2.1 MOD

    (comes from Award & AMI Bios mod requests. - Page 3085)

    Thank you very much!

    Here you go.

    I took this file 45T_SLIC.F2 and modded that file. I included all the original files plus the modded bios file.

    updated with

    1. Intel® RAID ROM 11.5.0.1111
    2. Realtek LAN ROM 2.44
    3. JMicron ROM 1.07.25

    motherboard_bios_ga-ep45t-usb3p_f2_GIGA_SLIC-SLP_SSV3-MOD.rar

    These Bios has not been test. No errors occurred while creating them. Bios files should work just fine. Before flashing Please make sure you no how to recover from a bad flash. Please use these at your own risk. This will could void your warranty if need to send the board in for RMA with these modded bios files installed.

    i posted this two weeks ago with no reply. all help is appreciated.

    "Whats currently the best bios for a p67-ud4-b3? A month ago i tried every bios known to man for this board and everyone gave me the profile1 bug. f5b was the only one that did not do this, but i get the voltage spike bug every once in a while when booting, so i would like to get a newer bios with hopes to fix this. Thanks for the help"

    Hi,

    Could you gurus help me out? I've been running my GA-P67A-UD7-B3 board(i7-2600k) so far with F2 BIOS, and been stable at 4.5, with these settings:

    CPU Clock Ratio => 45

    Real-time ratio changes in OS => enabled
    Turbo => disabled

    Internal CPU PLL Overvoltage => auto

    CPU Enhacned Halt (C1E) => disabled
    CPU EIST Function => disabled
    C3 / C6 State Support => disabled
    CPU Thermal Monitor => disabled

    Load line calibration => level 1
    CPU Vcore => ~1.38

    Now I decided to update BIOS to F6, but what I realized is that there are now 10 levels of Load line calibration. And add to that I cannot get my system to run stable with the same settings as with F2.

    Is there something I should change now that I moved to F6, is F2 LLC-level1 == F6 LLC-level1 or is there some differences? Meaning now I should use level 3 etc?

    Very annoying

    When ever you update the bios you should always retest for stability as gigabyte will make changes for better compatibly which will require different settings to get the system stable. Best bet is to start from scratch and work your way back up to your overclock or pass your current overclock.

    Another thing you should never use a saved profile from a older bios. As it may contain settings that are no longer in the newer bios or vise verse.

    As for your LLC level option other users have found level 6 i believe to be the best choice. That option has the lest vdrop and vdroop. Level 7 and up will have a voltage rise under load.

    If you have any further problems with your setup or need help getting it stable please dont hesitate to start a new thread. Please include your full system specs in your sig so we can see the exact hardware you are working with.

    Ok,

    I'll go and try those higher level LLCs. I just didn't find any release / change log from gigabytes site telling me what has changed in these BIOS updates and I was totally in dark.

    If I can't get my system stable with those higher levels 7 or so, I'll start a new thread.

    Thank you.

    New Modded Bios - G1.Sniper

    Now I only updated the Intel raid rom and the Jmicron rom.

    Intel raid rom - 11.5.0.1111
    Jmicron rom - 1.07.28

    I did not update the lan rom as this board does not use the realtek lan.
