I was wondering, how come jz has P67 B3 UD7 and UD4 modded bioses for intel raid rom and realtek lan, with several versions, but none for the UD5?

I would assume that no one has asked him to make one. But we all know what happens when you assume.

Who can do the working Mod for ga-x58a-ud7 rev.1.0 F9d with the latest ROMs. It is highly recommended to correct hash summs, because AwardTool v.1.52 doesn't work properly with ExtBios.bin. Or to do correct Mod with SLIC2.1 and Roms

Maybe Lsdmeasap or Acebmxer can do?

EDIT: I've flashed the BIOS v. F9d w\o modded ROMS (it has Intel RAID ROM v.8.9 and Windows doesn't boot). And now I reflashed again to F8 modded version and voila: it's all good!

It's a big question to have a modded bios with the last Roms and correct hash summs to hack with AwardTool

    Thanks a lot!

I can do the mod for you but I can only do the Intel raid rom, lan rom, and the jmicron rom. As far as the SLIC2.1 goes I do not know how to do that mod. If you have a bios with this mod already that you would like me to add in the other stuff or I can mod you the bios then you will have to get the other mod done by someone else.

Please post a link to the bios you want modded if you have it either here or PM me.

Sure NoJuan999 the "slic 2.1 mod bios magician" has modded it. Should be useful to post the link and let that Lsdmeasap or Acebmxer mod it with the latest ROMS if the modded bios by NoJuan999 is only an slic mod. Thanks for all yours work.

I already updated those three ROMS, in my Mod.
I didn't want to link to another forum as that is usually frowned upon at most Forums.

    @Stasio...

Have you heard anything about Gigabytes X79 UD5 having issues with SSDs on the Intel controller? I tried to raid two OCZ Max IOPS together and they failed 2 times after a reboot
Then I had a friend try to load windows on his Vertex 3 Non MAX IOPS drive and he was able to get into windows and load the CD drivers. But upon reboot he was blue screening.
He even tried it on the Sata 2 Intel ports and the same thing.
THen he loaded it on the Marvel controller and it worked fine. I have not tried to raid on the marvel controller yet.

Is there any news from anywhere about an issue with the Sata ports on X79 OR Gigabytes UD5 alone?
I would think since both of us have similar experiences that there is an issue with it.
    Thanks

Also one more thing, You have F4 for the UD7 and Gigabyte is still sitting on F2. Any reason why they are not updating their site that you know of?
My concern is because I am about to purchase yet another Gigabyte X79-UD7 to replace the one I had issues with(even though it clocked a 3930k to 5.5Ghz). I have an R4E here sitting in the box and I am going to sell it
if I can get a working board that will work on the 1.25x divider.
