Booting from USB can be iffy with certain USB sticks, please be sure you try a few different ones, and often smaller is better like 2GB or less. Be sure you have Legacy USB storage enabled in the Integrated peripherals page of the BIOS. 1, 2, 3 boot order doesn't matter and should be left however you normally set it. And leave the USB stick plugged in when you reboot to boot from it, you can't plug it in after startup I mean.

Press F12 on startup until you get the boot menu screen, then press HDD+ and on the next screen your USB device will be shown to select to boot from.

You may have had a bad flash, or something corrupted the BIOS so you needed to load optimized again. So it may not be the F10e BIOS itself, you'd have to flash to it again and test to be sure.

Preferably a bios that has not only he latest roms etc but also has been used and tested to be working flawlessly.

Thanks A LOT for your time!
Send me a PM and I can do it for you, link me to what BIOS you want, or just say latest, and then what version of ROM's you want updated too.

I'm behind a bit too, that's why I asked you

If you want updated realtek I can hunt it down, but if you only need updated Intel RAID ROM I can do that right now because I have the latest ROM's for those already I think.

I have Alpha/Beta ROM 11.5.0.1111 and this one too that I think is not beta1 1.0.0.1339. Let me know if you just need Intel RAID update, and I'll do it for ya right now. Let me know which version of those two you want too

*Edit* Actually, just remembered Stasio keeps all of this updated in our tools thread (Thanks man!)
    http://forums.tweaktown.com/gigabyte...ity-tools.html

So which of these do you want for RAID?

    Intel® RAID ROM 10.6.0.1091
    Intel® RAID ROM 10.8.0.1303
    Intel® RAID ROM 11.5.0.1111
    Intel® RAID ROM 11.0.0.1399
    Intel® RAID ROM 3.0.0.1184

    GA-X58A-UD7 Rev.1-MOD.zip

    Change Log:
    Realtek LAN - 2.45

Original BIOS and change log included in download

Thanks A LOT for your immediate assistance... I delayed my reply because I have to study - catch up with these things again :)
I suppose the Intel Raid Rom you added is not an Alpha version (I am too old to experiment :-) )

    Again, thank you!

Anytime, I'm always happy to help!!

The RAID ROM I added is the latest Alpha version, so very latest beta, next one will include TRIM for RAID!!!

Change log for the ROM is here
    http://www.station-drivers.com/telec.../sata/11.5.htm

And, Yes! I'll update it again for you as soon as the next ROM comes out, just PM me when you see it mentioned because I'll likely forget!

What can i say,... I really appreciate your feedback a lot!
I just did a very quick research about Intel RAID - v11.5.0.1111¨ and came across this: http://forums.tweaktown.com/gigabyte...tml#post413439

I suppose the above post refers to a bios identical to what you modded for me also with the J. Micron update,... correct?

    ... thanks!

Thanks for the kind words, I always aim to please!!

Haha, yes, that would be the exact same BIOS modified with the same Realtek and Intel ROMs, except he also updated J.Micron as you mentioned.

Out of curiosity, what's the purpose of the Realtek ROM? Does it have anything to do with the onboard NIC? Dumb question probably ;p
