That is a good idea Stasio, and maybe someone would be willing to step up and be the main person running the thread.

But.... do you think GBT would get upset about it? I know they see we mod BIOSes here, but they don't look in this thread every day I assume, so it's not in their face all the time.

What do you think about that, or did you think about that already, if so what was your thoughts?

I know at least 5-6 forums where you can get also modded BIOS,some of them even in direct contact with GBT.
So,I didn't saw any complain from GB side yet.

    Edit:
or we can "hide" thread only for special members,ha,ha
Just joke, you know what I mean.

Ya I know what you mean, I just thought about it because I know sometimes Colin asks us to pull BIOSes or add warnings, ect. So I was thinking ahead is all.

    Hahah, yes, we CAN hide!

OK, let's take in recruits over the next day or so, and see who wants to help or who would be willing to run the thread, and then we'll put one in this weekend!

I don't think we should add any guides though, because we don't want users breaking things due to something we showed them how to do. But maybe some links instead? Or just none of that, and we take requests and everyone helps when they can, and 1-2 people keep the thread updated?

Let's see first who willing to take over.I mean just care about first post,
as all of us can post links with modded BIOS.

Maybe some kind of warning on the top,etc.......
As i said earlier on the bottom put some web reference links.

Ya, sounds good! Let's see who has the time and wants to handle updating the first page every day or every few days as new BIOSes are posted.

Sorry for chiming in late here but I was thinking about this exact same thing a few weeks ago when a few of us were busy with mod requests. I my self was not sure how gigabyte or Tweaktown would feel about doing a separate thread or who exactly would like to do it.

LSD maybe Ill send you a PM of a few Ideas.

It's not late! We need anyone willing to reply, and we may wait a while longer to give everyone time to think it over and reply.

As per your PM, I checked, and that per user Mod or edit ability can't be setup like that. So whoever wants to run the thread has to create it, and then only they can edit it, or other mods as well of course.

    Hi Stasio,

Is Management Engine 8 coming for the X79 platforms?

I have a x79-UD5 and MEI and the integrated NIC will not work (They just have an exclamation with Code 39 in device manager). Discrete I350-T2 NIC works perfectly and I thought maybe a newer MEI version might fix the problems.
