I've seen quite some posts on this thread with a VT-d enabled bios for different Gigabyte X58 boards - anyone happen to have one for the GA-EX58-DS4?
You have to contact Gigabyte directly and ask them for it. You can contact Gigabyte here GIGABYTE. They did for me on EX58-UD5 and X58A-UD5 Rev2 but then they next bios release they took it out. Also They may tell you its not supported, which I think is true but it does work.

Running F9q I found that I needed load it onto both the main and backup bioses to be able to set my samsung green voltage to 1.35v (Auto sets it to 1.56v).

I also had to make sure voltage was manually set in both main and backup bioses before the change would take affect....?

With F9q main and backup bioses seemed to be sharing settings in some way.... anyone noticed this?

    Going to try F10 shortly.

So then, ****ing ignored as usual.

I suppose the ****ing chances of this getting ****ing fixed is what ? Zero ?

Basically, with a USB joystick(s) plugged in (rear ports or front) - I have a Xbox 360 PC pad + PS2 dual shock pad with USB adapter - the BIOS locks with a black screen when attempting to enter it, possibly it detects the joysticks as mice ?
****ing useless board is this GA-Z77-D3H, just like this ****ing useless forum. I think I will just do what I should have done a month ago and buy Asus.

    Seriously

F9q fixed my F4, F7, & F8 issues with Wireless keyboard entering BIOS, Cold start hangs eleminated. F9q brought to me the X.M.P problems mentioned here and the DRAM voltage mentioned as well.
F10 has ironed out the final wrinkle the x.m.p. and DRAM settings. For me, :-)

I have no complaints now. But I alistening here and trying any comlaints I hear on mine and reporting but we seem to be very solid here.

    @DKT70

I feel your pain and with my UD5H I had a cold boot issue with an eSATA connected I got the blinking cursor black screen.

Long story short, an RMA solved most of my issues and a fresh Win7 installed with no other drives or parriffs connects onto a Zero written HDD.

In the mean time in BIOS go to the Boot Order page and under the main one is one with a "BBS" in the name (I think) and disable any of the devices you do not want associated with booting. There are a couple places you can do that.
There is some useful info in the manual BIOS pages I found that helped me on this. If you search my posts you will find the page number. I'm not home now.

    Good Luck.

hi there. 1st of all, sorry if I'm bugging with old subject, but I can't find any relevant answer regarding it here.
I have a GA-Z68XP-UD5 with F7a, this seams to have solved my loop boot nag, so thanks for it.

But what I'm really looking for is UEFI. Some of the Z68 already have this new bios features, is there a schedule to release this new branch?
    all my best.

Yeah exact same issue here aswell. I flashed a few of the f9 betas all with similar issues i realised after that both Backup & Main had to be set with same voltages in order for it to work. No point having dual bioses then. I kept revertin back to F8. I flashed F10 today and it seemed to detect everything proper. Voltages you choose actually stick now with F10 (My backup still on F8) Only issue with F10 cant load profiles from USB. Anyone else????
