I guess you're right. I did some testing just now with F13 BIOS on my UD3H got the following results:

    1x4GB @2600Mhz Divider

    2x4GB @2200Mhz Divider

    3x4GB @2133Mhz Divider

    4x4GB @2000Mhz Divider

Here's hoping that the upcoming Samsung DDR3L tweaked bios gains me at least 1 divider step with 4x4GB.

I did some more testing on my ud5h with F10.
I found that my add on PCIe NIC in the 1x slot closest to the CPU is breaking sleep.

Card in = Zombie half sleep.
Card out = Perfect sleep / wake.

Same behavior in Linux, Windows, and OS X.

Is there some setting I need to change? I've seen Legacy/uEFI OpRom settings.
I cannot test this card in any other 1x slot, due to my GPU cooling solution, and I think if I use either of the other Physical x16 slots then I cut bandwidth to my video card.

Going to test more, just thought I'd ask for input on initial findings.

Further testing complete with disappointing results:
    UD5H F10

NIC in 1st 1x slot = No Sleep
Wifi in 1st 1x slot = No Sleep

NIC in 3rd 1x slot = No sleep
Wifi in 3rd 1x slot = No sleep

    Cards in 2nd 16x(wired 8x) = No sleep & 1st 16x down-clocks to 8x.

Anybody else with addon cards having sleep issues with F10?
Unfortunately the NIC & the WiFi are all I have.

Its the driver software. Yougotta go to Device manager and look for this kinda stuff.

I don't think that's it. This doesn't happen on f8, f9o or f9q. With same adapter settings in Dev Manager.
As soon as I flash F10 I get the sleep issue back.

The system runs fine without any add-on 1x cards, as soon as one is installed the system hangs when entering sleep.
This is happening in Linux and OS X as well, going back to F9q always resolves the issue.

I'm not trying to gripe here, just discussing an issue I have when using F10 & PCIe 1x cards. I'd like to know if the UD5H WB bundled WiFi card causes this issue as well.

2therock, I notice you have a UD5H WB, but your device manager screenshot doesn't show any wireless. Did you not install the GC-WB300D?

BTW, all these tests are with no OC.

    Mercy,

Always something, with sleep since Windows 95 it has never been simple.

I am stubborn for one more. Install the cards and go to device manager in every device in the list that has a Power management tab and if checked, uncheck "Allow this device to wake the computer". Including the NIC.

The WB300D - Before I sent the board in for RMA it had a signed driver issue. The Bluetooth side was smoking good. I got the board back and many issues were gone but some nagging things and a Virus had me writing two passes of Zeros to the HDD's (RAID1) and a fresh install.
Amazing how much better EVERYTHING runs now. I had driver signing issues on another add-on a PCIex1 SIIG firewire card.

Getting back to the WB300D, after the Win7 install it works perfect. However I went with the WB300D to obtain the card to install in my GA-EP45-UD3P / Q6600 system. The adapter is very strong. It blows away my HP laptop's Intel adapter and a USB adapter I thought was pretty good. I also run a Belkin Express Card N-Draft adapter that I thought was strong until I compared the WB300D for distance/strength.

When the WB300D worked in my old system and not my new I knew I would be reinstalling Win7. Believe me I tried everything else.
I do not regret it. I always write Zeros, only have the OS drive connected, and if I have new RAM I run Memtest86 on it 1st. A bad stick will scar up a Win7 install. Even one that will not show it in an obvious manner.

Oh, I am running two PCIex1 cards with no issues on F10 or any other BIOS I have ran. A USB add-on and the SIGG Firewire 800.
