I tried UD3H F17 and the Intel Management Engine Interface disappeared.

I was hopping to not get ASUS stone language that is limited on two phrases: 'Improved system compatibility' and 'Updated CPU Microcode' from Gigabyte, seems is not the case...

Now I have to take the BIOS in pieces and compare files to get a clue what was actually changed, what a lost of time.

Thanks for the beta's, really appreciate.

Somehow I got unsubscribed to all my threads around here. It was way too quiet for way too long so I looked in. Heh! Could it be a hint?

F9q was an amazing release for me. It just plain fixed every issue for me. I tried the F10 & F10x and they were bad for me. So back to F9q I went.
Now I'm back and tried the F14, which is a "If it ain't broke don't fix it flash" but I could not resist. So far no issues. I tried to make them happen as before F9q and its all good. So I will leave it.

As for the "I want change logs", We are lucky we get what we get. I have tried the hammering to get change log details and woke up to how lucky we are get what we get.

Keep it up guys. Without you I would have Cold boot hangs, no wireless keyboard BIOS entry, No working X.M.P, USB disconnects and possibly more.Attachment 5067

Should have kept my Sammy Green RAM, but still love my Kingston out of the box 2133 sticks.

For all you do,,, the least I can do is run it myself, see for myself, and report back.

I agree. We are quite lucky to have Stasio here to give us updated programs and BIOS. He is doing a service for us: it does not mean that he codes the BIOS and knows every little change Gigabyte makes.

Anyway for myself I didn't see any improvements in F14 for UD5H, but it didn't cause me any problems either and appears to be functioning well on both my machines.

Last night I updated to bios 17, after the first boot in to windows I made the normal bios setting changes I did for last bios and 15 cycle boots later boot failure detected.... I load default settings and booted again.

This time I only change a few things.
    PCIe clock to = 100
    CPU clock = 46
    CPU Voltage = 1.30v
    Fan speed settings = Manual-voltage-1.50
    Disabled internal graphics.

I didn't change, left all on auto
    Advanced CPU settings
memory settings (before i set from 1333 to 1600 its 1600 ram speed) its running on 1333 right now.
    PEG gen 3 slot configuration

And it booted first time after a bios change, something that it normally doesn't do. Pretty much every time i did a bios change it would take 3 cycles to boot.

So I believe that forcing one of the settings above must cause the cycle boot problem. I should know in the next 1-2 weeks if i still get the cycle boot problem.

LOL I'm still waiting for the promised Z68X-UD5 UEFI BIOS, so far not so much as a beta. To be honest I would rather they just said if they were not going to bother or if it was not technically possible rather than leaving us twisting in the wind.
