    Hi there Stasio,

Congratulations for this well ordered Thread.

Would you be so kind as to look for any Z68X-UD4-B3 uefi update, newer than U1C , please?

This U1C version only lacks LLC Control, so I hope Gigabyte's adding it soon... am I right?

Thanks for everything and sorry for my english.

    Greetings from Spain!

Thanks for your very fast answer! So, as an expert, Can you tell me how long does Gigabyte actually take to release a new bios update ? I know that it's a hard question, but it's just to have an bounded period of time to wait for it.

Z68 (P67) mobo hardware (as CPU voltage regulator for LLC) is based on AWARD BIOS,so existing hardware on the boards is very hard to incorporate in UEFI BIOS.
    Mostly Rev.2.x has less problem.
X79 and Z77 has different hardware to suit UEFI BIOS.

    Edit:
Receiving some Z68 new BIOS's now.........

    GA-Z68XP-UD4 - U1h
    GA-Z68XP-UD3 - U1h
    GA-Z68AP-D3 (Rev.2) - Ua7
    GA-Z68AP-D3 - U1a

Just put U1h on my Z68XP-UD3!

I can report TWO good things:

    1. They fixed Dolby Digital Live for the onboard Realtek audio!
    2. The BIOS actually seems to hold an overclock, although there is still no option for LLC. I've got my i5-2500K running back at 4.5ghz...

Still no option to completely disable the Intel OROM banner like their was in the non-UEFI BIOS. This is something I'm really anxious to see since it would reduce POST and boot time even further!
