Sorry dude, the bios is from gigabyte, you neeed to tell them that same problem exists along the whole line of x79 boards, same issue for me, except, my razor is busted and im using a cheaper one now, but, the driver that fixes the razor, fixes my cheaper one, maybe when I report back to them they will implement it across the x79 line.Like I say, get intouch with them, they will help you. Damn forum keeps signing me out, doing my nut in, surely it cant be that hard to replace the module, the bios mod guys must be able to this, to take a working module from an earlier working bios and just swap it out?. I was looking forward to swapping out my cpu this year with the ivybridge-E, but now the damn board is useless, not compatable with windows 8 anymore, because no one is making the drivers for it, like creative for instance. Now it gonna cost me again.

boe323: Thanks. Gigabyte's support has been outright talking down on me (German support center in Hamburg) or simply not even bothering to read the entire email thread, making suggestions twice in the case of the BSOD causing Intel RAID drivers. Blamed it on OCCT.
BTW, I assumed you fixed it yourself like the folks that replace option ROMs in BIOSses. If Gigabyte doesn't realize it on their own that the mouse support is broken on ALL of the X79 boards, how retarded are they, if they get to know it through your issue.
On a side note, NEVER BUY a board because of ONBOARD COMPONENTS. Especially not a killer NIC or a Creative soundchip. Just disable those (or use a Realtek onboard chip/Intel card) and use a plug in card if you can. Killer NICs have always been at the verge of a SCAM, please read some serious reviews done by network specialists.
:) TTYL...

What does 1 long beep mean on a uefi bios?, on ami it means past all tests, but I gather uefi is completely different, it comes completely random, I usually get a short beep at startup, but now for some reason I get a random long beep at startup, everything works fine though so theres no reason at all why im getting this random long beep, g1 assassin2 f12r beta, pc will continue to boot as normal and all hardware shows enabled and working, all memory modules all working and still overclocked, cpu still overclocked gpu working fine, mouse, keyboard working fine, any ideas?.

I've had that before with gpu card problems. Could mean the card isn't seated good. Might try pulling the card and blowing out the slot and cleaning the contacts.
When it gives one long beep and then shuts down it can either be a bent pin on the cpu socket or one of the power connectors (like the cpu 8 pin).
Since yours is booting it likely isn't a bent pin, but if all else fails I would pull the cpu and look at the pins real good as a last resort though, or make sure your heat sink is torqued down evenly.
