I flashed this bios with exactly the same results. Did you manage to recover from it in the end?

Did someone tested GA-Z68X-UD3H-B3 - U1l bios? i just want to know if the (always on) board leds problem is fixed. I would try it myself but i don't know if my mobo can handle more bios flashes xD.

For Z68X-UD3H-B3 u1l there are lots of improvements over u1k, however phase LED-s aren't one of them. It features a new boot logo and support for Fast boot and several Windows 8 components (eg. secure boot). Also I don't remember Internal CPU PLL Overvoltage option being there earlier, so I guess they must have re-introduced this.

In conclusion it is getting there, but there is still some work to do.

Update: Don't forget to load optimized defaults or clear CMOS after flashing the bios!

Update2: Found an issue: Fast boot (at least ultra-fast) has sometimes problems setting memory frequency or XMP profiles. - Solution: Not to use fast boot, allow CSM

Update3: When I tried to put computer into sleep mode, something weird happened and now the computer won't turn on. Going to clear CMOS. - Solution: Allow XHCI hand-off

Wow! Thanks for the amazing report Ingram. So the bios is getting nice improvements (earlier versions are nice and stable) but the phase leds are a deal breaker for me. I guess i fill a new report to see if gigabyte fixes the led issue and the other stuff.

I saw that Gigabyte replaced U1a with U1d for ga-p67a-ud3-b3, dont know why they didnt keep it like all the bios versions.
Anyway, no one tested this new UEFI? I'm still using the F7 bios and want to migrate to UEFI, but I dont know if its stable, if its ok for overclock.
