I hope the answer to that is "not planned". I much rather have the existing BIOS' kinks ironed out and a final stable non-beta with the "old" front end than a new front end with kinks of its own.

Adding new functions or any major modification is very limited, due to size of BIOS and BIOS chip on board.
However, I expected some minor modification in the near future.

    Edit:
Partly already explained a few pages back (post #7470).

Agreed, functionality should always be the first priority.

Z77-D3H, New f19i bios, can't change any memory setting! Not the timing, not the frequency. It always runs on XMP settings.
Tried to change bus to 101mhz and cpu-z confirms 808MHZ speed.
I can even boot and play with CL 5 and 3000MHZ lol .
My kit is 2 corsair vangance 4gb each, 1600mhz 9-9-9-24 1.5v in case it matters.
Can't use older bios since I can't boot when my logitech G25 is connected .
Awesome gigabyte... can't believe I bought this motherboard.

Is your board ver 1.0? Mine is ver 1.1 using F19i not the modded one. I can change the frequency and timing of my ram. The F19h modded1 ah everything i can't change in my bios setting and one morning when i open my machine everything in the bios are reset or restore to factory default. That is why i flash it with F19i not the modded one.

    Did you clear your cmos?

I believe what he meant is that regardless of what settings he uses in BIOS (even 3GHz CL5) the RAM will run @ XMP settings (1600MHz 9-9-9-27).

The F6e BIOS for UD4H seems to be a big improvement as far as stability at high memory frequencies goes (2600 and above).

    Nice one Gigabyte.

Edit: Still can't use any of the strappings though - BIOS locks up as soon as I click 'apply' on the 125Mhz strapping (after scaling down memory, CPU and uncore ratios appropriately of course). Not sure if this is due to the board, or my "dog of dogs" CPU.
