this was the bios i flashed.

the symptoms are as described 2 Posts above: uefi splash Screen, some beeps every 15-20 seconds and a black Screen after about a Minute...

I tried method one so far and will test method two and three today after work.

any idea what could have been happened?

Method #3 is the most effective one

Haaa, this is much better then your first post.

Will be helpfull to post your full specification.
Try to clear CMOS, any spare video card?.....disconnect all what is not important to just enter BIOS.
It's mean boot with 1 or 2 sticks of RAM,video card, keyboard and mouse.
    All HD (SSD), DVD disconnect.

Btw,this try once and if is same ,proside with recovery of Main BIOS.

    okay, i'll give it a try :)

let's say, i can revive my board, any Chance of getting an uefi bios onto it?

i started the whole Thing because the 3770k was limited to a 39 multiplicator^^

then i read, that the ivy's OC-potential can only be unlocked with an uefi bios...

    regards

    It's risky and not worth,
the best for you will be to by one (new or used) Z77 board (e.g. Z77X-D3H) and all OK.

Yea, i unplugged all disks and DVD-roms, ripped out the soundblaster so the gtx 780 is the only Card left^^
i can try ripping out one of the two ram sticks...

iirc the p67-ud4 has a pci-slot, right? - i have an old pci Video Card
and i removed the battery and shortened clear cmos Pins the whole night :)

you mean this mod-bios should work on the ud4-b3?

    greetings

    hello stasio,

i tried method 2 and 3 with no success.

after pressing 10 seconds power + reset, nothing happened after releasing both buttons.

shorten pin 1+6 in method 3 did nothing. the board beeped and the uefi splash screen came up.

during the flashing yesterday, the tool wrote 2 times and verified^^

is it possible, that the flashing-tool flashed main AND backup-bios?

    regards
    H

    edit:

tried to shorten pin 1+6 again, but the pc shuts down instant after pressing the power button

Did you can go in BIOS?
If can, flashing tools are also posted in first post "UEFI back to AWARD".
If not, then still keep to kick Backup BIOS as described on the beginning.
    No,you only flash Main BIOS.
    As,I said don't give up.

    Edit:
Search also on youtube (google),got some posts how to do.

    ......Found one thread here :

no, i can't access the bios nor qflash nor bootmenu

tried shorten pin 4+7 too, but still no backup bios kicking in

how will it look like when the backup bios kick in?

question: can i destroy the main bios so that the board is forced to use always backup bios?
