do you have any errors in the event viewer after waking the pc?
i installed a copy of 7048 x64 the other day and i've started noticing some Event 12, Microsoft-Windows-HAL errors after waking my pc, even at completely stock settings:

"The platform firmware has corrupted memory across the previous system power transition. Please check for updated firmware for your system."

    HI Ghz,

I have not been using the F5e for a while now, but I always have had problems with the S3.

Now I am using the new F7a with very good results in OC and the gigabyte software, the only thing is that the S3 keep awacking up the comptuter after 30 seconds that is gone to sleep...
    anyway I am running windows 7 7068 X64.

Check these things to be sure they are not waking your PC >>>

Also if you still have issues try a PS2 mouse if you are using USB one now, to see if that is the issue or not. If it is you may need to flip it over when you use S3, sometimes that helps

Yes, some changes are noted each time Stasio posts a new BIOS, he posts a new post everytime a Beta is given and added to the list. If he is given a change log, then he makes note of what changes were passed on to him

I noticed there is new or semi-new BIOS F6d for EP35-DS4. Dated january, but I know I checked say two weeks ago. So what is it? There is no info aside from standard "beta bios" line in there. I know that with F6c I had nasty problems with my drives and moved back to F6a or even F5.

    LSD, THANK YOU

It was the " Uncheck the checkbox of “Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power.” (That's right uncheck it people!)"

Very nice, now I can say that the bios F7A for the UD5, ROCKS
