Thumbs up Re: Gigabyte Latest BIOS

Hello to TweakTown. I would like to thank Lsdmeasap for the templates provided. I was able to avoid @BIOS. Then after 6-8 attempts at 3.0, flash to F8 and one minor change to memory speed, Voila! I have not tried any major testing software, but I ran Convertxtodvd, and Cucusoft dvd converter at the same time while browsing and running Zonealarm, and according to cpu-z and concomitantly speedfan, all 4 cores averaged between 45-50 C. Incidently, ambient temp is 65 deg F. Both 1.5 hr movies were completed in 40 min flat. Last Rig: 5-6 hrs PER movie!
    Vcore1 -1.34
    2 -2.08
    5-5-5-12 GPU clock 655 mhz memory clock 800 mhz 30 degrees C.

    Thanks, and any input appreciated.

i know it's only cosmetic and i may just be picky, but is it possible to fix it please?

Still the same bug. Strange anyway.

    S3 is working

UD5 F6c beta is stable for me, but UD5 F7a caused double start problem. Also tried cross-flash to Extreme F7c - it has cold start problem. UD5 BIOS and Extreme BIOS have almost the same features.

the f7c is stable for my ud5 extreme ...i can now do OC once again f7b is weird since it is requiring me a very high voltage to to be 3.6Ghz stable on my i920 while i do not even need to add any vcore on my MSI eclipse to reach 3.6....with f7c, i only added minimal voltage to reach 3.6 which is comparable to my old msi eclipse ... i will be sticking with the f7c for now ...and oh S3 is really working !
