Does the F7 bios for the Z87X-UD5H offer anything over the shipped F5 Bios?, as I'm getting BSOD for no apparent reason it would appear on the F7 Bios!. It's not a OC issues as I have tried loading optimised defaults and i was still getting BSOD. Thinking of reverting back to F5 as it seems more stable and F7 doesn't really offer me any improvements it would seem.

If F5 works better for you then that's what you should use. Always go with what works the best for you.
The BIOS will probably eventually get mature enough so that you will want to upgrade, but I don't think it's there yet for everyone.

Did you mean VT-D = for device passthrough for ESXI?

As far as I am aware this is the only bios for the EX58-UD5 to support VT-D support http://ggts.gigabyte.com.tw/FileList...09/ex58ud5.13s Got this direct form gigabyte when I needed it.

    Here is for the x58a-ud5 rev2 http://ggts.gigabyte.com.tw/FileList...9/58aud5us.ff1

Post Re: GIGABYTE Latest Beta BIOS

    Hello,

we have the GA-EX58-UD5 motherboard rev. 1.0 (I'm surprised there is a rev. 2.0).

When we work with VirtualBox we don't have the 64bits possibilities, or the I7 920 have virtualization possibility.

So the problem come from the motherboard. See screenshot.

What can we do to fix this ?

    Regards.

    For the GA-EX58-UD5 there is only 1 rev 1.0. The GA-X58A-UD5 has 2 rev's 1.0 and 1.1

Just about all intel mother boards support VT you just need to enable it bios. Did you check the bios and enable it? In fact I believe it should be enabled by default. Try loading optimized defaults. But you should still see it in bios.

The 2 bios's i posted are for added VT-D support.

You can flash the F13s bios that posted if you want, it was stable for me and regular VT works along with VT-d. VT-d is a hidden option that you need to press Ctrl+F1 at main screen and you should see a new entry appear.
