not the place to ask, but its typically 60 degrees for northbridges. however depending on your sys, normally your temp could be anywhere from 30 degrees to 50 average. if you start hitting 60, then you may want to contact someone.

    Because it's a beta.

What board? Only X58 boards have NB Sensors. What are you looking at NB Temp with?

What really? I thought most p45 boards also have nb sensors. so whats the sys temp reading then that those boards put out?

In addition, whats the status on that beta bios and what's it supposed to fix?

The "Sys" temps is located in the PCB Very close to the NB, but it is not the actual NB Sensor.

You can base your temps on the Sys temp for sure though as it is VERY Close to correct anyway, here see one of our members did some testing >>

Beta BIOS's do not always get sent to use with change logs, if there is one for that Beta, Whichever you are asking about?, then it would be posted on the day Stasio posted his update info the day he added it to the main page. So you would need to search thru this thread by board name, view posts, and you would see the last time he posted info for any given board's Beta BIOS's.

Actually outside of the first page, he never mentions it again. I searched all 80 pages three ways: manually, automatically, and going post by post of stasio.

I just want a working fix for the ep45 s3 sleep problem. I mean really its getting ridiculous now.

There was no change log given with that BIOS is why

You are correct, sorry he normally does post for each Beta he adds. He must not have on that one, and I do not find a change log myself either, so that means Gigabyte did not send him or the other places I know of a change log.

They do not always send a change log along with beta updates.

Hey, I see F12 has the S3 sleep fix >>>

Did you not try that one yet? Does it resume at stock?

f12 doesn't fix the problem. i've found that up to about 413 fsb the boards seem to be able to sleep but above that they fail regardless of settings.

Sounds like all settings to me then if it works up to 413 FSB. Normally if it was not going to be working it would fail at about 375+. So if you think you need some help make a new post and give me your specs, settings, and how you fail stability tests and I will advise
