And anyway, why does it work fine (except for resetting CSM Support option) until I try to clear CMOS (with button or by shortening the pins - doesn't matter).
    Hi friend.
Do u have UEFI GOP vga firmware?
If not then its a reason for CSM option reset after restarting bios.

Thx but back to 16c... too many bugs in this F15...

for me 16c almost perfect but it has big bug with FireWire

    in hackintosh FireWire GUID 000000000000000....

for boot we can use some fix... but after sleep there no fix and it spamming logs with:

kernel[0]: FireWire GUID ffffffffffffffff is invalid!
kernel[0]: FireWire GUID ffffffffffffffff is invalid!
kernel[0]: FireWire GUID ffffffffffffffff is invalid!
kernel[0]: FireWire GUID ffffffffffffffff is invalid!

hope we will get fix in new BIOS some day...

Saved me a job there EvgeniX, what problems did you see with the newer F15?

I too have the Firewire error after wake with F16c but the system boots that damn fast now with Fast Boot enabled in BIOS & Clover I don't bother with sleep.

I assume you use FirewireDriver.efi as a partial fix?

I have sleep working for my Z87X-UD5H finally, it seems. The only thing I can think of different is I manually set my RAM timings instead of using XMP profile. I also have Wake on LAN disabled.
    Hopefully it will keep working.

Hey stasio just to let you know setting the f5J bios to 100.1 clock works but for some reason now I cant get into the bios :) But everything else is working fine. When i try to access the bios I just get a black screen. Strange stuff. Windows boots fine and I'm getting no errors or crashes so far after 8 hours or so. I notice they have removed the F5 bios from the official download area now too. Fingers crossed this week they come with a revision of f5J with working base clock.

I have a reference HD7970, so no, it doesn't have GOP support. But here's the kicker: CSM Support resets to Never, this means that you have to have videocard with GOP support.
Obviously if you have older hardware CSM Support should reset to Always to enable legacy OpROM initialization.
