Hi 13xforever! With my Z77X-UP5 TH i've experienced similar issues to yours (boot-loop, impossibility to enter BIOS and even clear CMOS didn't help) and i've resolved flashing the same version of ME firmware on both BIOSes (main and backup).
I don't have derived the answer to my problem from official documentation or not, and this is my reasoning which, starting from an assumption led me to think about a potential condition and following this road led me to solve the problem. :)
It seems that the two BIOSes present in Gigabyte motherboards have the individual version of the ME firmware potentially unrelated but, from what i've discovered in my case, there may be a part of ME firmware's core that is shared as well are some vital functions of the BIOSes (date, time and language system).
Having two versions of the BIOSes so distant as well as the ME firmware, probably the core of the ME firmware that is potentially shared wasn't the same micro-code and creates problems in the management of the motherboard base functions from the boot.
Considering a situation with less serious problems of mine or yours, such as the boot correctly made and the subsequent ability to access the BIOS, one example of this "behaviour" was the base clock not working properly (showed as less than 100.00 Mhz and was disabled the possibility to change it) as reported by many users (including myself) when flashing modded BIOSes that were including the latest version of the ME firmware.

Updating the two BIOSes as follows:

    1) Main BIOS with the latest Beta (in my case F12J) + latest version of the ME firmware (V.8.1.30.1350) manually updated after BIOS flash

    2) Backup BIOS with the latest official stable version (in my case F11) + latest version of the ME firmware (V.8.1.30.1350) manually updated after BIOS flash

i didn't have problems with boot-loop, i was able to access the BIOS, load the optimized parameters and then set the BIOS options and parameters of the CPU OC.

Everything worked as expected without an issue or a glitch. ;)

Try this option and let me know if this worked even for your case.

    Cheers,

    KK

On F15h, GA-X79-UD3 and WOW!!! What an update! Fast Boot finally here!
On System Information(Windows 8 msinfo32.exe) It shows Secure Boot State as Off, not Unsupported. Where can I enable it??(Assuming UD3 actually supports it and is not an error!!)

Cool for you, but for my x79-ud3, i get corrupted bios like f15a, so i stick with f14 mod4.

Hi I have the Z87X-UD4H and recently upgraded from the F6 bios to the F7 bios?

The result? Well right off the bat my RAID 1 mirror became corrupted and could not be read. It took a good hour of fiddling to recover it and I am not 100% sure all the files are in good shape.

Next, the system is now pretty unstable. Firefox and Thunderbird now crash repeatedly and there are a few other new quirky things happening.

So I decided to go back to F6. Well, unlike before the only bios available on the site now is F7! I don't want F7, I want F6, and though I thought I had downloaded it previously I cannot find it. Can someone point me to a place I can get F6?

FYI, all the same setting were used from F6 to F7 and in fact I even went more conservative on timing s after the issues popped up. No new pieces of software were installed either.

    Any help is appreciated.

Also, I tried registering for my account here and since the Tweaktown mail server does not use domainkeys/dkim, or that setting is improperly configured, my mail server rejected the activation e-mail. Now I don't know how to get an activation email resent. I also don't think this post will get through.

I'm still on the fence about updating the bios from F5. The F6 bios seemed quite stable with some people reporting a few issues. I assumed the F7 bios was going to be a similar improvement but it may be introducing more issues. I hope gigabyte comes out with the F8 bios soon having resolved these issues. I'm having some issues with third party hardware and will have to update the z87 ud4h board soon.

I did a google search for the F6bios but only found modded bios versions. Cant trust those with all the current issues. I hope you're successful in downgrading the bios cause sometimes the issue remains even when you revert to the older bios.

I can confirm that the new F16 BIOS for the UD5H still has the PCI bug I mentioned earlier.

    I registered just to ask:

Any chance we see a UEFI BIOS release for the P67A-UD4-B3? There is a release for the UD3, but none of the others? Should I give up and just buy another board since there hasn't been a BIOS release in almost a year and a half?

I just the new f20a and f20b bios on my GA Z77XUD3H.
I found that my memory speed was only at 1333 Mhz using both XMP profile and manual setting. My memory is rated at 1600 Mhz (corsair vengeance cmz16gx3m4x1600c9). There is no problem on bios f19f.

Is it a bug on these two new beta bios? Any one experience the same?
