    I have a different motherboard, but here's how it works on mine:

    Press the power button and keep it pressed for at least 10 seconds, perhaps longer. It will turn on and turn off after a while. You still keep the button pressed for those 10 seconds or longer.

    The next time you turn it on, wait a little as it will probably power cycle once. It will boot with backup BIOS, say the main BIOS is corrupted, and flash a new main BIOS.

    OMG thanks you are a life saver!! Only other info I could find was here which didn't work for me. ga-x79-ud5 corrupted bios
    The manual doesn't mention this. :P Glad I was able to revive it.
    @stasio This happens always when I turn on Secure Boot. Is this a known issue or maybe faulty motherboard? What are the proper steps to enable secure boot? Manual hasn't been updated yet. Thank you for your time.
    @Ropid many many thanks friend.

    Why you need Secure Boot..?......probably is bug in BIOS or need other setting to be applied.

    I'm not judging or anything. I was surprised that it "bricked" as it's stable. Could you please tell HQ that there might be a bug?? Thanks for your help stasio. Do you know if the manual will be updated? Reason I would like secure boot is I have a custom grub version that checks and verifies my OS (Linux and windows efi boot manager) and I wanted to sign it with my own certificate.

    Been messing with the X04 bios, and its not as good as X02 for a start 100x45x43uncore results in bios and windows reading 4.489ghz and 99.77fsb WTF sucks lol cant even get the readings correct, x02 was perfect in that regard well for me it was.---------------------------------Also worth noting people, my x02 bios saved settings copyed to my pendrive wont not boot x04 up only x02 would boot up are gigabyte taking a step backwards with stability lol, what a right pain it was trying to remember my memory timings and voltage settings arghhhh
