    Hi,

I have a problem with my Z77-DS3H and F10i bios. I can't enable fast or ultra fast boot. It simply doesn't work. I updated my GPU to GTX 760 which has UEFI GOP vBios, disabled CSM in bios, enabled fast boot but everything is the same, nothing changed. Windows 8 is installed on GPT formatted HDD and boots fine. I have to say that fast boot used to work when I was using my integrated gpu intel hd4000, but when I switched to gtx 760 fast boot doesn't work.
I contacted my GPU manufacturer and got an answer that everything is ok with the gpu and that I was using the latest uefi gop vbios.

Is this some kind of incompatibility and what could be the problem?

Please, I miss my fast boot :)

Are you running the latest drivers? One of the Nvidia bugs has to do with UEFI and disabling fast boot or disabling UEFI, it's in the Nvidia beta thread, if that's the driver you're running.

    Same here
I am trying also to OC my sammies super ram (Samsung 30nm ddr3 ram) ...no love
able to run 4x4GB (16GB) at
    1600 Mhz 8-8-8-22 1T 1.35v
    1866 Mhz 9-9-9-24 1T 1.5v (1.488 read)
at 2000Mhz 9-10-10-28 1T 2T 1.5v (1.488 read) ...even setting blck at 100.1 manually... it boot first time...but not the next one....settings are reverting back
I guess that is the "speed of light" barrier of the board...nothing in the z77x-ud3h board universe can go faster

I gave up for the 2133Mhz
Try a shot at 2400 Mhz ...almost boot...a small almost

Similar result for me... my Z77X-UD5H dislikes 4x Crucial Ballistik Tactical (PC14900 CAS9 1.5V) so i kept only 2 sticks : bad result @2000MHz but much better @2133MHz almost stable with 1.66V (5 Memtest passes OK, but not fully stable so i reverted back to 933MHz)... I tried the same with my 2 other sticks on Z77X-UD3H, but unlike UD5H : no boot and needs reset @2133MHz (1.65V).
(Sorry for my french accent )

Yay, finally, had a reply from gigabyte about f12t beta bios for g1assassin2, they reproduced my OC issues so they will be fixed in next release, including the bigfoot nic.
A WHOLE LOT OF NOTHING WORKS PROPERLY

Well, it doesn't work at all. :) First what I noticed is that it doesn't speed up boot process at all, boot logo is present, and you can enter BIOS by tapping DEL key. All of this wasn't present when Fast boot was enabled with Intel HD4000.

I have the latest WHQL drivers for Windows 8.1. Does this driver disables fast boot option in Windows 8 or the option of Fast and Ultra Fast boot that you can find under UEFI bios? If the latter is the case then I have a problem :)
