You just need to use FTK, Once you do that you'll never go back to the other method. It works regardless of BIOS version or Q Flash so far for me. It's in the latest tools thread, and MacG32 has posted some tips and pointers in that thread and another one if you want to search for his posts, he's the one that helped me get started and I'm so glad he did.

FAO: Stasio - New LN2 Benching Bios for the Gigabyte Z87X-OC, not sure what else is included in the update, but listed what's known below.

New LN2 Benching BIOS >> BIOS ID: X07

    • New option “Memory Initial Parameter Set” for memory OC high speed frequency tuning.
    • Bios tweaking for PSC RAM as well as high speed MFR RAM.

Just an advice, because some Windows licenses only have 2 activations (one per motherboard), and i'm on the 2nd motherboard and last activation hehe!
Yep... same thing happened to me tonight! I noticed that I had to re-arm Windows 7 Ultimate... and all I did was install the Modded 12u BIOS.

BTW: What's the deal with the 12w G1.Assassin2 BIOS that already out? (e.g. what did they change already??)

Just flashed F17d BIOS. Didn't find any differences from F17c.

    * SSD Cache is still not working
    * 100Mhz bus selected on BIOS. Real BUS: 99.8Mhz (F12,14,15,16 set it at 100Mhz)

    Stasio,

Any updates on the SSD Cache issue?

    Thanks!

GA-Z87X-UD3H has a bug in all BIOS. Computer does not recover from standby.

    Example:

Leave computer for a few hours, come back, hit power button or click mouse, computer turns on

results in blank screen on monitor, no lights on keyboard or mouse etc. Every thing is stock and memtest prime95 stable.

Exchanged the motherboard for a Rev 1.1 with C2 chipset and same problem still. Must be BIOS issue?

F12u, cpu/turbo ratio in MIT doesn't report overclock, f12v/f12w fixed cpu/turbo ratio in MIT when overclocking, f12w is just basically the same as f12v from what I can see. Also, f12v/f12w, support for ivybridge-e(working).
A WHOLE LOT OF NOTHING WORKS PROPERLY
