Quick question, will a Pentium G3220 (All of the Pentiums and i3s, actually) really not post in a GA-Z87-D3HP without v. F5? Product page says as much. Mine was manufactured in June so I'm sure it has F4. I'm only asking (and not testing it myself) because I want to be able to return the CPU if it won't work.

I updated a few weeks away, u1b works normal but sometimes to appear bootloop issue before POST screen and then open empty window gigabyte uefi bios.
stasio, when you release fix for this board? UEFI boot my system faster, than award, and not want to downgrade to award again.

Do you have suggestion Beta Bios or Mod for me. Thanks.
If you don't use any USB 3.0 devices, try to do this in your bios:
    Attachment 6409
    Gigabyte z87x-ud3h
    Intel® Core™ i7-4770K
    Corsair Vengeance 2x4GB
    EVGA GeForce GTX 570 SC
    Gigabyte 610W

    I have a 990FXA-UD3 rev4.0 and I would like a beta bios newer than the current F2.

I know I made a mistake by buying an AMD platform 990FX with an FX-6350 instead of an Intel Z87 with a i5-4670k. But please, I do not want to look through 1000 pages to find a newer bios. The official page has only F1 and F2 and I am having issues with both. I can't find any unofficial bioses for my board at all.

Any reply is greatly appreciated. :)

    Hi guys,
I've been using Acebmxer's modded BIOS F2i for EP45T-USB3P for almost 2 years and was very happy with it. Unfortunately after having installed Windows 8.1 on my RAID 0, wake up from hibernation took VERY long (+ 1 Minute). I've been testing with different Intel RST drivers and finally tried another BIOS with Intel RAID ROM 12.7.0.1936 from here:

    GA-EP45T-USB3P rev1.0 for 3TB drives

Surprisingly it completely solved the hibernation issue (()) but now I'm facing two other problems:
    1. No DRAM clocks > 1333 MHz and no bit of overclocking possible - this is definitely related to the F2 final BIOS instead of F2i I've been using before. I remember the same struggles two years ago with the F2 BIOS...
    2. JMicron SATA/IDE BIOS doesn't show up (neither in AHCI or RAID mode)
    3. No post at all with AVM ISDN card inserted - the board has been running into the famous reboot loop

Can you do me a favor and try to integrate the new Intel RAID ROM above into the working version of the BIOS which can be found here:

    http://forums.tweaktown.com/gigabyte...tml#post416703

Of course I'd of also appreciate new JMicron and Realtek ROMs but that's quite unimportant compared to having a stable and usable BIOS again :)

    Many thanks to you modders!!!
    Bernhard

UPDATE 1: In the meantime I've read that Intel ROMs eventually need modification itsself to fit either P67&P55/X79 or ICH10R. Does someone know why this is neccessary? At least, the above version 12.7.0.1936 worked with the old ICH10R (Device ID 2822 without alternative Device ID). If you need another proper ROM version for the mod, can you try also with this one:

    >Especially modified Intel RST(e) RAID ROM v11.6.0.1702 with TRIM in RAID0 for ICH10R systems<

    from here:

    http://www.win-raid.com/t7f13-AHCI-a...M-Modules.html

UPDATE 2: The solution is one post below :)

Lightbulb Re: GIGABYTE Latest Beta BIOS

Finally, after reading Fernando's very good tutorials about BIOS modding, I managed to mod the Gigabyte EP45T-USB3P F2i BIOS myself.

    The following is updated:

    - Gigabyte SLIC 2.1
    - Intel RST 11.6.0.1702
    - Realtek 2.57
    - Jmicron 1.07.28

    Advantages:

    - TRIM-to-RAID actually works for RAID 0 and RAID 1 with ICH10R!!! (tested with TRIMcheck 0.5 freeware)
    - Wakeup from Hibernation in Windows 8.x is much faster
    - Beta BIOS F2i is much more stable than F2 final when overclocking

    Here you go: https://mega.co.nz/#!hN80CRpK!OeRDg3...5wPx1lJIggYYa8

    Have phun!

I see this forum is active, so why can't I get a response? Is this an Intel only forum or what? I don't like to be so direct, but I really need an answer.
