Updated from the F7 bios to the GA-Z87X-OC Force BIOS F8c mod

Is it normal to the Bus Speed is not locked at 100Mhz? It`s on auto in Bios and at CPUZ it shows 99.76 as in Bios

The memory is not locked at 2400mhz as well (The XMP profile) the frequency is 1197.2Mhz so the speed is 2394.4 is it normal?

    Thanks

    99.76....is "Fail-Save" frequency.....
Just change from "Auto" to "Manual" and should have as bellow:

Thanks. However I usually only use the BIOSes from the GIGABYTE Web site to minimize "mishaps". I just wanted to know why F17 is posted on the GIGABYTE Web site for rev. 1.1 but only F16 for rev. 1.0. Any idea when rev. 1.0 will be updated to the newer versions on the GIGABYTE Web site? Talking about the GA-X79-UD3.

^Rev.1.0 and 1.1 has same BIOS ID.....so,should be no problem.

Rev.1.1 has slightly different hardware on board.

    Stasio

i set to manual, do the 100mhz was enabled

But now i`m getting 99.98mhz at CPUZ, latest version

Is it normal now that the manual and the 100mhz was enabled?

Edit: Now i see a option called Spread Spectrum and it`s set to auto, i read in some places that tis one is supossed to disable but i don`t have this option, or is auto ar the value is just increased, what should i do to fix the 100blck and this spread spectrum value ( Ireally don`t know what this spread spectrum do but....)

    Thanks

    Thanks
