zerowing - ASUS is likely where my business will go from now on. Sadly, Intel is cutting (or already has) manufacturing of motherboards, that has been my ideal choice in the past.

Georgo94 - I would like to add that 2 USB 3.0 ports on the back, or the 6 USB 2.0 & additional 2 USB 3.0 ports from headers, (as these all run directly from the Intel Z77 chipset itself) are the only places to plug in the keyboard or mouse in order for them to run correctly without the drivers required for secondary chipsets like VIA. I disabled the VIA chipset altogether in the BIOS and used all the headers (6x2.0 and 4x3.0 ports) that are native, for all my peripherals. Now if they could only UPDATE the BIOS, lol...

dskiller - Basically just disable the VIA chipet, and use the headers; that seems to be the best solution I have found to be quite stable.

Stasio - Is there ANY chance of simply forwarding feedback if you do happen to have direct contact with Gigabyte, PR, or anybody there at main? Even pointing them to the forums here and seeing paying customer's disdain for lack of support might help. Eventually all of the dissatisfied people will buy new motherboards (personal/customer), and likely from another source. I have even contacted Gigabyte directly by phone, and although their customer service was quite understanding (and even sent some form of feedback), they unfortunately do not have any real leverage from the USA with the BIOS team at HQ.
