    Question Re: GIGABYTE Latest Beta BIOS

    Hello!

    I have a Gigabyte P67A-UD7-B3 with BIOS F7.

    Unfortunately, I can't overclock my I5-3570K with this board: maximum multiplier available is 38 and it doesn't operate!
    (CPU gets stuck to 3.4GHz when the multiplier is set to 38)
    (Which is really a pity 'caause I got a big watercooling system)

    Is there any chance I could get a beta BIOS or tweked bios to geet this fixed ?

    I really do no want to change my motherboard (I need a very particular layout this one has and do not want to spend hundred of bucks...)

    Thanks!

    Thanks for info.....link reuploaded.

    To have unlocked IVB multiplier,with your P67A-UD7...only available is crossflash with Z68X-UD7 BIOS.
    If you want ,I posted HERE...how to do.

    Once you boot in F6c BIOS,just flash (with Q-Flash) with Z68X-UD7-B3 - F11a.

    Hi!

    I just tried the procedure, but just after flashing with the F6c BIOS the PC doesn't boot: it keeps booting a fews seconds and then restarting, again and again. Nothing shows on screen.

    :(

    Hello, I'm using a Z87X-OC with F8b BIOS and I keep getting the D4 code on the debug LED 'PCI resource allocation error. Out of resources' Does anyone know what this could be caused by? I hadn't noticed it wit F7 or F7g and I only have 1 PCIe slot used (GTX 780)

    Thanks :)

    My advice, stick to the perfect or almost perfect F7g stay well away from the F8 line of bios`s until the massive flaws/bugs are sorted out.....
    F7g is has no major issues apart from latency issues when using onboard igpu/audio cpu latency issues. but if you dont use onboard then the bios is the best yet again stay away from F8 and its siblings. I to am waiting on gigabyte getting there ass in gear and fixing F8...

    Did you follows my notes on that post?

    1.Set to "Optimized Defaults"
    2.Disable "GSATA" and "eSATA" option
    3.Untick "Load CMOS Default" in @BIOS application.

    Should be minimum hardware attached to mobo.
    Kick Backup BIOS recovery and try again.
    I do several times (and many others) on my previous P67A-UD7,with no problem.

    Why do you mean by "kick backup BIOS recovery " ?

    Thanks!

    I found this :
    1. switch off power supply ;
    2. press and power on button ;
    3. switch on power supply while maintaining power on button ;
    4. switch off power supply as soon as anything goes alive ;
    5. wait for 10-15s ;
    6. switch one power supply.

    It doesn't do anything. Still boot looping...
