    - put all files on your USB stick
    - add the BIOS file you want to flash and rename it "bios.bin"
    - reboot and start on your USB stick
    - flash start automatically... wait for "FPT Operation Passed"
    - restart with CTRL+ALT+DEL

Just tested .....flashed Z87X-OC from F8 to F7g.....few hickups...but OK.
Now must flash back to F8.

    Edit:
Reflash once more time with Q-Flash.

    Btw,
you have BIOS switch........(2 BIOS chips)
so keep this BIOS on one BIOS chip and flash whatever you want from second chip.

    (4) The next time you turn the PC on, the backup BIOS chip will take over and present a screen asking you what you want to do.

Will this just switch primary and secondary bios chip?
Meaning beta will remain on primary bios chip?

    Edit: Nothing...power off PC...holding power button...start booting...turn off...still holding power button...counting...release power button...turn on...normal boot...same beta bios???

Here is one method to overwrite the main BIOS....it may not work with all Z87 boards all the time but it works on my Z87-UD5H:
On boot spam Ctrl + F10, this swaps the main and backup BIOS

    if successful with that, then:
On boot spam Alt + F10, this overwrites the backup BIOS with a copy of the main BIOS

What I do is hold down either the Ctrl or Alt key and spam (rapidly press) the F10 key, sometimes it might take several boots if it doesn't recognize the key combo.

Rufus - Create bootable USB drives the easy way

Just used this tool...I mean I used it before but didn't overwrite that autoexec.bat
    Long story short:
I formated USB with Rufus tool...overwrite files with ones provided from OP extracted and renamed original bios and copy to USB.
Then I rebooted from usb...got corupted bios screen after flash and it did auto backup from secondary bios chip...now factory bios F7
    Thank you all.

I guess you swapped the red words?

No. Alt + F10 overwrites the backup BIOS with a copy of the main BIOS. Works the same for Z77 & Z87....at least for the boards with the BIOS switch.

Gigabyte Z87X-UD4H F10a bios so far seems much better than F9a and F9 but why the change to orange background/theme? CPUZ still doesnt show 100Mhz base clock
