You can uninstall and then reinstall. It will then run on restart. However, most of the tuning functionality is gone. Hope an update comes as I've found 10c to be more stable as well.

I flashed back to F9. Could you report here when Easytune works again with F10c?

Default Downgrading after flashing Z87X-UD4H 10a

Hi, please bump this if I've placed it in the wrong forum. I recently flashed 10a on my GA-Z87X-UD4H and have been having a myriad of graphics card issues. As part of my fault finding, I went to downgrade the BIOS to the version i previously used (the modified f8b). However, no matter what method of flashing I use, I get told the bios file is out of date and I should go to Gigabyte's website to get a new one. Is there anyway around this?

Funny F10a is the best bios i have tried on this board never had any issues with it all. Try switching off computer from power supply switch then powering it back on whilst keeping pc power button depressed this should corrupt your bios and your back up bios should overwrite F10a....

hey stasio thanks for all your hard work!

just wondering if you can find out 2 things for me, is there any new drivers coming from gigabyte for my xfi sound (assassin 2 mainboard), some for win 7 but i need win 8.1 64bit, these drivers must come from gigabyte.

and 2, is there a final bios for the assassin 2 x79 coming ?

They've stopped working on other bios' because of the z97/h97 project. Ive been waiting for months for a custom bios for g1assassin2 x79 board, just when I thought it was nearly ready when they asked If I needed the enable/disable lan option, everything stopped, and a pooh load of 97 bios came out virtualy week after week lol. There wont be any new drivers for the xfi, there is a newer firmware/driver within the bios, starts after f12y but its pants, for some reason its not as clear, cant here much detail if you know what I mean.

^They slow down on Z97/H97 also....don't forget that X99 is coming soon.
