    About sniper m5 f10a:

    from overclock.net:

"Well.. tested again... same report. Entering bios with oc, it's a pain, most of the time, blackscreen.

AMD low performance half the times the system boot, confirmed. 7970 gets 4000 on 3dmark11, 290x gets 4500, a complet joke. Not sure if it's a strategy to make customers upgrade hardware or they really s*ck making bios."

    Nice, old bugs are back...

About bclk at 99,70mhz dont bother, after more than a year with z87 lineup, they cant even fix the bclk thing. Amateurs at best.

Profiles wont load after saving a new one in F10b.
I know that change made stability FAR greater for me. I have to wonder if it was to address a larger issue with some things.

Perhaps. That said, I wasn't having any stability issues with the bclk at 100.00MHz with F9 Bios. I tired to manually change it to 100.01MHz in F10b but that caused my GPU driver to crash within several seconds in games

Are we going to get a final / "stable" UEFI for the Z68AP-D3 R2.0 ? (A bit hesitant to flash a BETA).

Its been a long time since I had a gigabyte board, and recently picked up the Z97X g1 wifi bk.

Not having a good time with it currently.

F5 (and to a lesser extent F4) have a tendency to corrupt my windows installation when attempting overclocking. I thought I had a workaround by having a second cloned ssd, but yesterday F5 managed to corrupt BOTH drives to a degree that I could no longer get into windows.

These problems to not seem to be there with F2 BIOS, but overclocking there seems to require more voltage.

Also, at first I was able to run my 4790K at 4.75GHz with 1.27V, but now it takes no less than 1.35V to get 4.75.

Also, I was initially able to run my Kingston Beast 2400MHz at it's rated 2400, but now I can no longer reach the 2400.

Any adjustments to bclk causes my sound blaster z to no longer encode dolby digital live or dts connect without audio corruption.

Someone pointed me in the direction of this thread to try beta bios, so will see how I get on.

Just not enjoying this board at all at the moment...

I confirm problems with GA-Z97X-Gaming 5 and Kingston 2400MHz beast in the last bios f5, this processor unstable and needs a larger voltage than the f3
