    for Stasio,

I have a Gigabyte X79 UD5 which has an i7 3960K, which was running pretty sweet @ 4600, on bios v F9, a couple of weeks ago, I regretably updated to F14e..........a lot of the settings are different, and it is very unstable with similar settings that I had in the previous version.

Is there any way to revert back to v F9, or is there an updated guide for these latest bioses ??

Any help ro suggestions, will be VERY welcome.

    Hermie

    Hi Stasio,

I really appreciate your fast response to my post & problem.

I have followed the instructions, and flashed back to v F12 (July) last of the 3D bios versions, and it all worked well......there were a few little hiccups initially with posting, but it was probably just getting used to the older bios.

So currently I have it running at what appears to be a fairly stable 4700.

    So thanks again, greatly appreciated.

Keep up the excellent work :)

    Cheers
