Hi Stasio. I just picked up my X99-SOC Force this morning and check Gigabytes page and they are only up to F5c. Just wanted to check to see if the F5f is a good place to start. Also thanks for putting these up and out of curiosity will there be an X bios for the X99 board at all?

    Getting there.

    (1) BIOS version F18i
    (2) Windows 8.1 with all updates
    (3) Atheros drivers v2.1.0.21 WHQL
    (4) Intel INF v10.0.17 WHQL
    (5) Intel RST drivers v13.1.0.58
    * this is only the driver extracted and manually installed, not the whole RST package
    (6) Intel MEI driver v8.1.10.1275
    * this is only the driver, not the whole MEI package
    * the version for the MEI where it was inside was v8.1.30.1349
    * this particular old driver version is important or the device will break after standby/resume
    (7) I think I flashed ME firmware to version v8.1.52.1496, but I am not sure
    (8) VIA HD Audio v6.0.11.0.400
    (9) VIA XHCI (USB 3.0) v4.50A
    (10) Graphics card is a GTX 560 Ti, so newest NVIDIA drivers

The CPU is an i5-3570k. I can use both offset voltage overclocking and fixed voltage and both work fine and easy to get stable. I use up to 1.38V for Vcore (except in the summer when it's too hot where I am).

I also use Linux a lot. Everything runs fine there (all drivers are built directly into Linux, so there's nothing to download), except the audio needs strange, manual changes for the settings in the audio mixer to output things correctly. The same overclocking settings work for both Windows and Linux.

I noticed that your board is Rev 1.1, and other cases also was Rev 1.0.

I'm seriously disappointed with F10 and Gigabyte. (z87x-ud3h)

    - With F9 when you set 100 base clock, you get 100 base clock (or 99.99/99.98). With F10 you're stuck with 99.76.

    - Still no minimum and maximum cache ratio feature.

    - Still no HPET toggle.

    - I actually had this bios lock up on me after an F10 to save and exit. I have never had that happen through all of the beta bios versions.

    - Now the Uncore doesn't drop at idle, even with optimized defaults with uncore on auto. Manually setting 34x also stays at that speed and never idles. With F9 it drops to 800 at idle with optimized defaults. It also drops at idle when set to 34x in F9

the system will boot loop back to default bios optimized settings with a power off and on, on led code flicking between 64 and 71

Think i will stick to using the next F7.x variant bios`s as what ever they have done to the memory timings or something on x08 i cant use it.
unless they can fix what they broke
or there bios version has completely broken the support for my :Avexir DDR3-2133 CL9 x2-8GB memory....
For me working well...almost as F7d.

its strange, X08 does not work with my memory for some reason. they must have changed or done something to make my memory totally unstable even at XMP the board wont boot.... will only boot with generic 12.12.12.28 or something timings. :/
though i did mod the bios and change microcode from 1A to 1C though i cant see that being the cause.

Yea,this BIOS's (X & B) are custom made and is not available on GB web page,as is mostly made for LN2 competition (World Records).
Got BIOS B02,you can ask Dino S. from Australia to send you.

arghhhh dam bios issues lol, stasio can you all the mods and stuff to the X08 incl modified logo as the x08 has no modded logo and a few of the modules are older its possible when i done it that, that made the issues and i want to recheck it from a pro doing it lol
one other question does it matter what slots i have the memory in for better oc compatibilty or general compatibility with memory ? i currently use : both orange slots., cant wait to test out the modded version if you can do it for us as im not finished with trying to get this X08 working its annoying me now lol

Yea,I must admit.....Xxx BIOS's are not made for XMP.
Memory setting should be done manually.
