yeah mate i guess so, just tried it again with 1 stick and same issue, the board will not even save settings with out boot looping back to defaults with this bios.
i dont even think this is a memory issue.
just refuses to safe settings and bootloops are random places in the powerup it will only boot up to bios if i have the bios at default.. lol
defo something with this bios and this board even though it works for you its impossible for me wich is weird as we have the same board, only thing different is our memory but it should still work with 1 stick at generic defaults but it refuses. this X08 makes me think my board is broken.

Got a little tip for you stasio, stick your vring on auto and put your vccn voltage @1.190v and then you will get amazing stability on uncore and you can there for bump it up to 48x with ease. it should net you also faster system scores and benches aswel as faster memory speeds.
vccn is the key when going for high uncore :) i run 48x48x 1/1 with uncore @1.320v and 1.190v vccn :)

I really wish i could use X08 :(:(:( i have no idea why its not working for me arghhhhh..

    and yeah vccn voltage :)
dont exceed 2.300v though thats max on air/water, LN2 is little higher though.

Vring on Auto can get a little high on some boards.....Sin (Steve) recommends not going over 1.35 in his guides, but probably 1.4 -which I've seen with my boards on Auto- isn't going to kill anything. I've seen a little above 1.4 Vring when on Auto checked with a meter, but as long as you know what you got and aren't worried about it then no big deal I guess.

Interesting about uncore....I haven't seen much gain going above 40 with my cpu's, but some do a little better with higher uncore in benchmarks. Not enough in my case to run above 40x uncore all the time.

yes but you are using a 4000mhz uncore
you must pump vccn voltage up if you want to get a stable high uncore
i have tried putting my vring @1.2/1.3v and vccin @1.6-1.8 and i could not get a high uncore, highest i would get to is 4.5 uncore but still little unstable.

was not until i put vccin up past 1.2v that the system uncore went stable and went higher.

    ----------------------------------------------------------------------
with vring @ auto it shows in bios voltage of 1.057v and if you look at the vccio in bios it seems to be the same voltage if you bump vring up vccio goes up
max vring in windows with 48uncore is 1.057/1.068v

    ------------------------------------------------------------

again though vccin is the key to unlocking uncore.

What is the point in making Uncore so high, it has being shown that it makes little differnce in realworld computing. It was much the same with the latest AMD.
