is that with the gtx 980 boom?

could be bios incompatibility with that till windows loads its drivers, hence no bios screens or black screen, cant think whatelse you can try

    980 Hasn't arrived yet :)

Same setup as before,so nothing changed. Just suddenly started getting black screen (Only when trying to enter bios at bootup). Funny that you mentioned drivers though because I have gone back to 337.88 to fix the Dead Rising 3 crashing, going to update drivers and then try again.

    *EDIT*

Changing drivers had no effect, I guess as this is a post bios issue.. Might try re-sitting some memory see if I reset cmos on the board etc.. Fun times lol..

    Cheers.

System will not post at all now. Power on the PC Display shows an A9 in bottom right of corner, then the monitor is still showing it's receiving a signal but display is black. Can't boot into Windows or into bios?

Never had this before, any help appreciated (:

Was having that issue with the z87 ud3h F10 last beta. Only way to get in was to reset bios. Seems to be an issue with the UEFI Interface. It would work fine, than I would change something, than it would be black and I had to clear Bios.

Seems to be fine now, with Wazza's help. Manged to flash it back via Q Flash utiliy with no memory in the PC. Then unplugged all the drives and was able to get into bios and reset everything. Plugging the drives back in caused the same issues so re did the cabling etc. All fine now, hopefully that's it over with now :)

Default GA-X99-UD4 can't get into BIOS, if press DEL on boot up get black screen.

Spoke to soon lol, can't get into bios again now. Same issue if I press DEL during boot up I get a black screen. If I press nothing it will boot into Windows and run fine.

So the PC will run but not allow me into the bios, hopefully an update will fix this issue?

    *Update*

It's def a HDD thing, with the old HDD drives unplugged I can get into bios fine. I've updated them both (Barracuda) to the latest firmware but issue still persists. Is this some kind of Bios UEFI incompatibly problem, will Gigabyte be able to fix with Bios or should I buy a different motherboard?
