I cannot get the same stability I was having on gb z87 with z97.

With z87 it was stable at 47@1.25v. Now I need more than 1.30v and it's not fully stable.

I always set the multiplier at x47, adjusting the well know OC parameters, but I'd disabled Intel turbo boost.

Should I get better stability setting every turbo core to x47?

Will get lower performance setting every turbo core to 47 than setting multiplier to 47?

    Thanks.

Is there a new bios for the z97m D3H version 1.0 . I have f5 now but I crash sometimes due to having maybe an old nvidia gtx ti560ti with 3.2 or 3.4 drivers or the gigabyte app

Was just asking if itīs better using turbo or setting multiplier when overclocking z97 platform as a general rule.

No problem, will start another thread.

My Z97M-D3H has a cold boot bug.
It takes atleast one, sometimes even more restarts to make my system operate at regular speed.

Is this a known issue? I've seen couple updates for Gigabyte X99 chipset boards which fix this kind of problem.

Hmm I can only find F7c as latest bios for GA-X99-Gaming 5 on Gigabyte / support / download.

Edit: Nevermind, I'm an idiot :)
