I figured out what is causing the boot loop after a Windows crash. I have a Silverstone FP-37 USB 3.0 card reader plugged into the motherboard.

So the USB front panel issue is NOT FIXED with BIOS F8e.

    Can anybody else confirm?

    Here's what happens:

    1. Select the i7-5960X 4.3GHz upgrade setting in the Bios, then save and exit.
    2. The system will boot into Windows and work perfectly (I can run benchmarks, stress tests, etc).
    3. The next time I reboot, I'll get a boot loop on the Gigabyte boot screen.
    4. I switch off the power supply, then turn the system on again.
    5. System boots into Windows, but no longer has the 4.3GHz setting.

This is frustrating because the system is perfectly stable in Windows. Please advise.

Stasio, do you know if there's a new version for the z87-d3hp?, already reported here and on the official support a few months back that the F7 is bugged , no worthy answer received and no new bios :(

Already did that a couple months ago, still no fix though... I'm sticking to f7b, f7c and f7 are very buggy and unstable to me. And I'm not the only one complaining....

    Hi
I think you have make a spelling mistake, with version F7 is UD3H and not UD5h that have F7f.

Is this BIOS for pcb revision 1.0 or ?

    Thanks
