    Hi Stasio,
sorry for my incomplete messagge and for my bad english :)

I have view in your first message here quoted that the GA-Z97X-UD5H-BK have two time different bios (F7 and F7f) and in first page version F7 is for UD3H-BK and F7f is for UD5H-BK.

I have UD5H-BK PCB 1.0 and i should know is the BIOS is the same for 1.0 and 1.1 PCB version. thanks for the reply.

U know why in compatibily vendor list about M.2 (LINK) was change and in the old version some vendor there isn't in this new ?

Because I have Crucial M550 128G and before is in list, now not more. Can I have problem with this new BIOS release ?

Unfortunately still poor performance when PCI-E 3.0 is enabled after a cold start. Restart fixes this mostly but it's annoying

Still waiting a fix for pcie gen 3 bug giving half the performance on z77, z87, z97, and probably x99.

I can imagine the slogan for the next gigabyte platform... "now it works!"

    Latest official bios:

    GA-Z97X-Gaming 5 F5 5.55 MB 2014/05/30

    GA-Z97M-D3H F5 5.55 MB 2014/05/30

    GA-Z97X-Gaming 7 F6 9.18 MB 2014/05/30

At least bring some pictures of your team vacations when they come back!

    Thanks again gigacr*p!

In my system the new beta file F7f don't work fine.

    I have this hardware:
    z97x-ud5h-bk
i5 4690K (not OC for now)
    GTX660

    1 SSD Samsung evo 250G in sata0 (with O.S. win 7 x64 pro)
    1 SSD Crucial M550 in port M.2
    1 Hdd in sata 3
1 SSD OCZ Vertex 2 in other sata port 1

This sata is for all controlled by Z97 chipset and in AHCI mode.

1 DVD in marvel port in IDe mode. (in ahci i have bosd).

With F7e all work fine, OCZ same thing, even though someone tell the incompatibility from the SSD controller with Z97 chipset.

Instead with F7f i have boot with long time (last about 1h) and then after this I have rollback at F7e. Any idea ?

I'm working on getting my 4770k overclocked on my Z87X-UD4H. My MB has F9 on it currently. Gigabyte has the F10b available as a beta driver. It says the F10b has "Enhanced Intel K-SKU Performance". Should I upgrade for this extra performance? I'll only be overclocking to 4.5.

I tried searching this thread for "Z87X-UD4H", but the infamously crappy vBulletin search brought back hundreds of threads unrelated. Hoping one of you with this motherboard can steer me in the right direction. Should I upgrade and get the boost in performance for my 4770k, or stay with what has been stable so far, and be happy with overclocking the 4770k on the F9 bios?

    Any advice is greatly appreciated.

In my experience with Z87X-UD5H, there is so benefit. The "Enhanced Intel K-SKU Performance" -- as far as I can tell -- is in regards to those that are using the 4790K refresh.

I tried F10c and F10 on my board with no performance increase. However, I did encounter weird Bus speeds when set to Auto. It would always run at less than 100 MHz. So that led me to downgrade back to F9 and all is well again.
